Looking at the rest of the teams below me he probably wasn't in danger of being picked anytime soon, but I'm still unsure of who to get for some other positions and didn't want to rush into a replacement for Iniesta and get the wrong guy.

Before you picked blanc, I was thinking you would go with a midfield of Desailly,Vieria and Iniesta, thats a midfield that would annihilate the opposition.

Adams? Not the first name that would come to mind to pair up with Vierchowod, but I suppose there's not many options. It's really down to who you are planning to use your 90s early bird advantage on.

Hadn't read your latest pick when I posted that anyway.

No need to rush the Iniesta replacement with so many handy AMs coming up next. That's one thing I could have gained losing Ljungberg, very easy to replace in that round, which right now is looking like a nightmare for us at the top. Also, it's not just who is below you since you can't pick him in the next round.
 
It is difficult to go wrong with Vierchowod though. He was top class as a stopper before developing as a ball playing centre back later on, but either way he was great at both. I can see his pace go well with Adams brute.

A scramble round could've been amazing! Each guy draws one player that goes into a pool that randomizes to which team they'll go to! :lol: The meltdown here would be epic!

Who said he went wwrong with Vierchowod? Great pick at the time as he can indeed be joined up with pretty much anyone and fit or even make up for deficiencies (e.g. pace).

It's Kalle as a false 9 (not Savicevic, who is a great pick to ensure the trident survives Tevez/Rio/Hargo), or Verón I was referring to. I'm still not sure what he plans to do with Verón, maybe I'm not looking at it the right way.

Anyhow, was a throwaway comment as I read a passage when everyone was poking fun at Viva and making feel he was missing the obvious. Not being judgemental, but I can see how the timing was off a few hours :lol:
