Swansea midfielder Jonathan de Guzman has been ruled out of Saturday's Premier League opener against Manchester United after suffering concussion during training with Holland.
The 25-year-old midfielder will also miss Wednesday's friendly with Portugal after colliding with Dutch team-mate Dirk Kuyt during the session in Faro.
Both players remained motionless after the clash before De Guzman regained consciousness and Kuyt required five stitches to a facial wound.
The injury means the Villarreal loanee will be out for between seven to 10 days and he may also miss next week's Europa League play-off first leg against Romanian side Petrolul Ploiesti.

When my Dad arrived home earlier, I had a smug look on my face and I said "Something will happen tonight Dad about United. I do think so!" - he questioned as to why, and I pointed towards that newbie's posts and he just laughed. Can't tell if he was laughing at me, or whether the joy was too hard to contain for himself as well.


Needless to say, something better fecking happen otherwise I'm going to look like a right mug in front of him.
