Has RM been able to sell anybody yet?

Ozil, Di Maria, Benzema, Coentrao and others staying is going to put financial pressure on this club is it not. Silver lining?
They already sold Higuain, Albiol, Callejon, Pedro Leon and Carvalho's contract ran out. Their net spend so far is only around €8m. Not sure how much pressure the Bale deal would create, but they are the richest club in the world, so I doubt it's a big problem. Coentrao will most likely leave, then they should be fine, even if they spend silly money on Bale.

They're tight on money too. If the rumours are true that they want to stagger Bale payment over five/six years shows they're not in a healthy condition.

Don't delude yourself, Madrid are in a wonderful position financially and the Bale money is very manageable for them, as it would be for us if we were so fortunate to be fan-owned and reinvest all our money back in to the team.

Kaka has announced he wants to leave - he hasn't said what his salary expectations are. Last time round all the deals failed on a small matter of clubs asking Madrid to subsidise his wages. Milan went one step further, asked for a free loan, and a wage subsidy - which (had he returned from the loan) would have cost Madrid more than letting him sit out his contract. Progress then? We wait and see.

Arsenal (according to Madrid "sources") have now enquired about 12 different Real Madrid players, without actually bidding for anyone. The rumours remain that Casillas may be thinking seriously about an offer he's received from them.

Madrid are still waiting for a bid for Ozil. We apparently are waiting for a resolution to the Rooney situation before deciding. Incidentally they also repeated the rumour that Kagawa may have been offered (by someone?) to Atletico on loan.

Coentrao still hasn't been sold - unless he's related to the Bale deal in some way.

Di Maria is still a mystery. Ancelotti may like his attitude better than Ozil's and given team balance and backups in various positions he may well prefer to keep him.

 Oh Arsenal, if there's one club we can rely on to be more dumb than us in the market, it's them.

They're going to end up with Flamini as their only signings, aren't they?

Butragueno says we'll all know who's coming and going from Madrid in 36 hours

What an utter genius, is he 100% on this?

Coentrao? Di Maria? Ozil was on the bench today apparently

They shouldn't get rid of di Maria when he seems to be on good form, but Bale's arrival will surely end any long run of first team action. Ozil was on the bench and didn't come on, don't think he will move though.

From the three mentioned, Coentrao is the most likely to depart. More versatile (can play as a DM, LM and LB), better on the ball, younger, and would cost the same as Baines. No brainer?

Coentrao is looking for CL football and presumably a good wage. Madrid are believed to be looking for 20m Euros.

So as Bale enters through one door...

Kaka is negotiating with Milan.

Ozil is hoping to get offers from PSG and United :smirk:

The surprise is that it looks like Coentrao is staying. Too fussy to go to Monaco and too high a pay packet for everyone else maybe?

Speculation around the others, including Di Maria and Casillas, seems to have died down.

Let's go and sweep two or three players from Madrid tomorrow. If we ended up signing Coentrao, Di Maria and Ozil for example it'd be an amazing window.

The likes of Valencia, Giggs and Young should not be the reason for not going after Di Maria or Ozil. Two clubs have won the Champions League with the last batch of Real Madrid rejects playing a major part in their victory. I hope the management sees that.

Galliani is in Madrid discussing Kaka's future, he is definately gone.

Ancelotti saying Coentrao will stay, which doesn't mean much offcourse.

After today's performance I'm all for putting in a bid for Di Maria and seeing if they go for it. If we're going to insist on playing down the flanks then we need someone with the pace and trickery to beat his man and make things happen. At the moment I'd only trust Nani to do that with any kind of consistency. If Di Maria is available I'd buy.

Di Maria for me would be perfect for us. High workrate and very good going forward.

Well we could certainly use Di Maria and Coentrao. Why are RM selling the latter anyway? He's superb.

He wants out apparently. I prefer Marcelo to him at RB aswell and Coentrao is way too good to rot on the bench.

I'd take Di Maria, Ozil and Coentrao any day all 3 would be great signings.

We currently have depth in wide areas but the quality is lacking, when you start an away game with Giggs on the right wing (wtf) and Young on the left its time to buy some quality.
