New Day's entrance theme and vignette on Raw made me laugh and I'm not even sure it was meant to. They're just having fun with it and it probably won't go anywhere but I'm all for it.

I suspect the plan was for Big E to return and take them both out (probably at the Rumble). However, the WWE seem to have slightly stalled the heelish momentum and feature New Day more sparingly. My guess is that Big E's injury is taking longer to clear than expected so they're just cooling the heat off until nearer to his return. Maybe they'll do something at Mania (a segment probably, not a match).

I'll be honest, I dont think dude is returning any time soon, if ever.

I thought they just bought E into it to give them some extra heat tbh. It'd be great if the pay off was him coming back but can't see it after all this time.

Been drawing parallels between some of these WWE bods and football managers.

Sami Zayn - Graham Potter (Too nice, no edge)
Jey Uso - Amorim (Charismatic new kid)
Seth Rollins - Klopp (Tries to be a good guy, but there's a nasty streak bubbling under the surface)
Gunther - EtH (No nonsense)
Drew McIntyre - Mourinho (chip on his shoulder)
Penta - Pep (a bit mad)

Of course it was planned.
Ok - that makes sense as it would have been really careless, but it seemed like it wasn't planned for just then in that Triple H vid posted on here.

Anything posted "behind the scenes" by WWE officially is very much part of the canon.... probably a big reason why I like Beyond the Mat and Wrestling With Shadows, because they do kind of get behind that, just a little, which is why we've not seen anything remotely like that since out of WWE's heavily control at least.

Thanks ... Should have known! As mentioned earlier, I just started watching some shows because they're on Netflix now and haven't come across any of their behind the scenes stuff till that Triple H video.

The level of planning and control in WWE now is utterly astonishing.... like almost everything is heavily scripted and very little free reign unless you are a massive part timer where you'll have a strong input in what your script is, but it'll still be a script. They know where we are as a world, thus the endless, and for the most, still very good and interesting stuff, backstage footage they do give... but most of them know they have to heavily be in character with cameras about.

Though yes, their characters may just be exaggerated versions of themselves, regardless if good or bad. Almost every great character in wrestling has leaned onto their own life and personality to be who they are.

You get a lot of these videos of what happened after the show went of air of the wrestlers still mad at each other as they walk off They really keep the storylines going

Elektra Lopez released too, apparently the releases are because of NXT stars ready to be brought up.
Was saying to my wrestling friend yesterday, id get rid of most of LWO/LDF if we're making room for budget/people.

Might not have been my exact words.

Rewatched Wrestlemania 2000, forgot what an atrocious ppv it was topped off by them having the Rock lose the main event

Reminded me how much I enjoyed Crash Holly and his Houdini of Hardcore gimmick though

Starting a show with Jey is a great way to start the show hot. Great reaction for him choosing gunther. Interested to see how they keep it going and keep it hot for about 8 weeks

That was only the good thing about Raw last night. Everything else was boring & predictable. Hope it picks up over the coming weeks.

Logan Paul is great in the ring but not sure why he's in the Elimination Chamber considering he's a part timer. Surely they should have given that spot to someone else.
No.1 Villain

He'll probably end up final 3 after doing something nefarious

Because he's a big name to the completely casual audience. Same reason Speed ended up in the Rumble.

Probably gonna start his mania feud. (Hopefully not Cena by costing him chamber)

I enjoyed the women's tag match. Started slow but thought it show cased the best of all four and crowd got really into it

Thought he said he was going full time? Or is that just for mania season?
