It’s not up for debate though. He does vastly overuse the super kick. That’s the part you’re trying to debate and it’s the part not up for debate. The debate is why that’s entertaining. It lacks imagination. The only one arguing for the sake of it is you. If you want to discuss his general entertainment then we could’ve had a different conversation. But if you demy he spams the super kick then it’s all a bit silly

This "debate" started when I pointed out you were saying the same bollocks about Kofi Kingston when he was going for the title. You double down despite the fact that it's a massive mania moments that's gone down in history.

Happy enough with Jey winning though. He's over as feck and WWE have dropped that ball loads of times over the years, so I'm finding the reactions quite funny now they've actually decided to run with a crowd favourite.

I don't particularly care for his matches, but they are the least important aspect of it to me anyway. He is a fun character and exceptionally over, I see no problem with him winning in the end as the other top guys will have more story driven feuds going into wrestlemania it seems.

That's a bad comparison. Undertaker had one of the largest move sets - the guy had 3 finishers - of any wrestler and he was one the best wrestlers in that locker room.

I think from someone who has basically not watched since last Wrestlemania it was surprising. I thought it was going to be Cena and the end and was looking forward to see Cena win in the end. So it was a surprise/ underwhelming win when Jey won. But hey I don’t watch WWE so for actual fans this was probably great.
I didn't have anybody in mind as I was so sure Cena or Punk would win I didn't want to pin my hope on spmeone and be let down. Sadly I did not do the same with the women's rumble as during the match I wanted a final four of Stephanie Vaquer, Alexa Bliss, Giulia and Iyo Sky. And in that one there was onle one person I didn't want winning before it started and they won. So my disappointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined.
Jey winning the rumble is a headscratcher for me, he's basically just an entrance, he was good as supporting act but there isn't enough to him to put a title on him.
Either he loses at WM, which makes the rumble win kinda pointless, or he wins and gets exposed. Unless he's used as a transitional champ to move one of the big titles onto someone else, could do that without the rumble win though.

Zayn or Logan Paul.
This is the first ppv I've seen since Survivor Series 2016 and it was hit and miss.
The women's rumble felt like it was in slow motion, like underwater wrestling. Charlotte winning was boring as she was champ around the time I watched it last and shows that the division is stagnant. Alexa getting a big pop was nice and then a meh exit.
The Cody/KO fight was fun but wanted KO to win.
The men's rumble was good. I don't really know Jey Uso that well but he seems over enough so better than going for someone obvious. I thought Seth was gonna win it.
Joe Henry looked good, looking forward to seeing more of him.

I think he’s got himself so over and become so marketable right now to a large portion of the audience that they pulled the trigger on it. If we are being honest it won’t last forever and I never expect him to be on the level of a Cena, Punk etc but it’s so hot and over right now that pulling the trigger does make sense while he’s this hot and will create a very memorable Wrestlemania moment. Not only is he massively over right now but they have a bit of an underdog story with him. Again, I do get why some people either aren’t into him or his matches but it’s clear to see why they’ve pulled the trigger on him right now as I doubt he will ever be this over again, strike while he’s hot.

Sadly the women's division isn't stagnant, it has a lot of good wrestlers and a fair few are really over, whether as face or heel. Charlotte winning is just because they have boners for her for some weird fecking reason.
Not everybody wins the rumble wins at WM anyway, so if he doesn't win it wasn't for nothing, I think it was for him and for the fans more than anything.
I actually thought a returning Charlotte or Becky were about the only choices. Maybe Alexa.
If Bayley was a champion I could have seen them maybe hotshottimg Roxanne, but it's slim pickings a bit in terms of credible winners that can actually go somewhere storywise at Mania.
It's hard to get excited about a Charlotte win though.

The Wrestlemania moment will be memorable for all the wrong reasons if the match is as bad as it could be.

I think they were in a different period which stopped them from fully pulling the trigger. I also think Knight was massively over with the wrestling fans, whereas Jey is over with those and also reaching out to an even bigger audience currently hence him coming out with the likes of Quavo and Travis Scott and how much the entire Yeet stuff has caught on.

Back in my day, only HBK did the superkick and the spear was deadly by Rhyno and Goldberg (and less so by Edge).
Now you see so many of them that it feels less impactful. Although that Steiner son has a brutal one.

Second was Roxanne Perez, she was the women's champ on NXT but lost it to Giulia, who was in the rumble too. Pretty sure she's being bumped to the main roster very soon, no other reason to have her last so long.
