Very late to the party watching this but I watched the entire season in one sitting on my flight between Europe and Mexico
and overall enjoyed it. It's basically Oedipus Complex vs Daddy Issues, and while it's not always done in the subtlest of ways, it's overall very enjoyable, with Colin Farrell being particularly excellent. It's a shame that they chose Cristin Milioti as the other lead, she's ok in "girl next door" kind of roles but is not really believable as a gangster femme fatale, and it shows at times. She's not terrible, it doesn't spoil the show, but it would've been better served with a stronger lead.
Overall was a fun watch with some weaker episodes along the way as you'd expect, but yeah enjoyable on the whole.
