He's playing deep to collect the ball, as usual.

Now he'es moved Giggs central and DIego on the left

C'MON UNITED!!!

They're passing around our area, we get the ball back, Diego cross field to Mickey, no time on ball, Chadwick on left, Mickey cross cut out by Mills. Beckham corner. Rio climbs up, header off target to Kewwell. Big guck with Giggs, Phil and numerous leeds players involved - very wound up, Harte to get a yellow, and Ole, for a late tackle from behind.

Comon' Man Utd... zzzzzzzzzzzz

Coming into injury time. About to lose 2 on the trot, not taking advantage of our chances to blame.

What chances ? in the 2nd half our attacking is pathetic.

Forlan on right actually.

He evens makes a right back type tackle, for the ball to out for a throw in to Leeds. Kewell getting treatment from it, probably wasting time.

See ya guys... call 911. <img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" />

Leeds defence has been excellent. We've lost. Again. We were better the first half, but didn't score. They were better the second half, but did score. 5 mins injury time played, but they could have played 15 and it wouldn't have been enough.

FECK OFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Looks like last season all over again, just with an other part of the team not working...

There are always days (or dare I say seasons) like this, we'll be back don't worry.

Thanks for all the comments Neil. Must have been difficult to concentrate. Better that we realise soon that we just are not good enough rather than building castles in the air. What pisses me off is thjat results like this will give even Macabi Haifa confidence!!!!!!!!!!!!

See you guys.....Time to rebuild for the future!!! New kids I guess

Too fecking predictable, even when we're up for it, we can't score, we get contained, they score from a rare chance, no hope of equalising, we lose.

It really is not a disgrace, but playing like we did in the 2nd half IS.

come on, crembo.. any team would suffer with out their best midfielders in the middle.. we played excellent in the first, not bad considering keane, scholesy and seba were missing.. and Butt's injury in the second was crucial.. after he left we didn;t have a centre midfielder.. Phil played well..but he's no keane... Must say i was very dissppointed with Becks.

We didn't deserve to lose and were very unlucky.. we should had two pens in the first half.. to make matters worse, Nicky got injured...after that happened they took control.

Keane might have made a difference today, but I doubt that Scholes and Veron would have coped with the physical stuff in the second half.

Leeds were just harder and tactically shrewder.

Nevertheless....

So that's four CMs injured... We're not scoring and are letting in easy goals at the back. Champions League is our only chance of glory this season, as we don't have to be in form til the QF in March.

Agree about missing the injured etc... but at a certain point after weve conceded it looked like the players have despaired and almost stopped trying.
Leeds were everywhere, it looked like they have more players on the field than us.

like i said, they took control after Butt's injury... and we lost the game in midfield.. which was bound to happen due the fact we didn't have a natural CM... it was more to do with our lack of players, then their shrewd tactics.

the players tried their best...thats all we can ask for.

Why was Ruud substituted? He created two of our best chances and was very unlucky not to score the second time, poor finish the first time.

And we needed a goal, surley it would've been better taking O'Shea or Phil off.

And why wasn't Stewart in the squad? I mean, come on, there was no way we were going to use Richardson unless we were up 3-0 or something.

Luck's got feck all to do with it and SAF knows it.

We didn't take our chances in the first half. Leeds had the resolve, tactical nouse and squad strength to take the game by the scruff of the neck in the second half.

But good to hear about Nicky - his departure was crucial today.
