I've had some trouble getting a constant connection to the internet on my PS3 but it seems to be resolved now. Once the update's done I should be able to play.

You had a couple of chances near the end where you were outnumbering me but none of your players seemed willing to run into the box giving a few of mine chance to get back.

A very tense encounter, ecantona7 piled on the pressure and I tried to hit him on the break. At 1 x 1 one of his strikers missed a header from the edge of the 6-yard box, which probably would've sealed the game.
Then around the 80th minute I wounded up with a 5 on 3 counter, passed it around to find an open winger, and slotted it in.
With the results so far, 20le_Solskjaer has 10 points and has guaranteed his spot in the knockout round, and I'm right behind him at 9. TheGame is out of the running, and redspoony can get the last spot if he wins his 2 matches. Otherwise its ecantona7 going through.
(redspoony could get through by beating ecantona7 and drawing his match against TheGame, but it'd be down to goal difference. And someone could go through in 4th)

I keep reading it like you're multiplying or describing the size of the area of something. It's just unorthodox is all.
Its weird, I probably follow more English football than Brazilian, but its how scores are reported in Brazil, and its what's at the top of my mind apparently.

Sorry I haven't been available to play my group A games. Thought I'd get them done this weekend but then I got tickets to the 6 nations so I've been in Wales the whole weekend. Just got back to uni there now so I'm available to play now.

scoreline wayyyyyyyy too flattering. My first goal was a lucky bounce to vargas and he put it away 3 feet from the net. Second goal was a lucky bouncer that fell in front of my player. And my third and fourth goals were in 90+ min when game was already done.

I guess this pretty much settles Group D, unless I recorded any results incorrectly.
Its 20le_Solskjaer in 1st with 10 points, myself in 2nd with 9, and ecantona7 in 3rd with 7. redspoony and TheGame to play for 4th place, and maybe a spot as best 4th. I'll post the final table when they play their match.

I moan because it's by job in real life kind of and I'd always moan if I see it in a way that I wouldn't do myself. That's natural and nothing personal.

Don't worry, it was curious to me to find out that my first instinct was to report scores and organize the table how its done in Brazil. What do you do for a job?
Not that much, I don't think it took more than 30 minutes to get it all setup on a simple spreadsheet. Just wanted to touch up on my Excel skills, I'm worried about getting rusty now that I'm away from real work for a while.
I hope we get started with the knockout games soon, should be fun.
