Taken on Lille as well redspoony? Enjoying the skill of little Eden Hazard?
I find Lille has great balance in attack and in defense.
Yeah they're a good team to use. Hazard is great, but Gervinho is a bit of a beast.
I will do it later when I'm home.
Results of a knockout phase draw are as follows:

I would like playoff games to be played by Wednesday. Then the knockout phase begins but if someone wants to play sooner, the it's fine. I will be unavailable for a part of the next week but carry on playing regardless. All games shall be eight minutes a half, higher seeded player has the right to pick his team first.

For the next knockout round there will be an unseeded draw made once playoffs are over, presumably next week, and a ladder will be created.

Alex, vuc, I won't be able to play until Sunday and then from Tuesday till Sunday again. If you could play your game soonish, we will play this Sunday or Monday.
As I said, if we can sort the games out sooner, we will begin the next knockout round sooner. 7 days is simply maximum, the less the better.

Just wanted to double check, in the play offs, there is no rules of selecting teams like there is in the knockout round, so both teams can be the same etc like in the group stage?

There is no rule for choosing teams in playoffs, both could potentially be the same.
For some reason Everton are 4 and a half for some but they are allowed since the new update does put them at 4 stars and no one should suffer because of bugs. I would have liked to make a list of 4 and a half stars teams that are allowed for the rest of the competition because when you look at stats most of them are actually near the level of best 4 star sides (and some are even worse than Napoli are for example) but some games have already been played so it would be unfair, unless those participated (redspoony and Big-Red) do not object.
Alternatively, we can have a selection of 4 and a half stars sides enter the competition from the next round if you lot don't mind. I think there is no reason to exclude most of them, except for the likes of Tottenham, City, Arsenal, Milan, Bayern or Atletico who are too good and bound to create disproportions, but the likes of Villa, Everton, Villarreal, Borussia, Roma, Juventus or Benfica should in my opinion be alllowed, and a few more. I won't be able to check stats for the next two days but I already have a concept of who I would let in.
I would like to hear opinions, for now on do carry on playing four stars. I think quarter finals is the earliest I could introduce higher ranked teams without bring unfair.

Yes. For playoffs there is no rule but for knockouts there is one, its intention is to create an advantage for higher ranked teams as there would be basically nothing to divide pot 2 from pot 3 without it for example. So, someone from higher pot chooses his side first. You can still pick different teams for different games. And it works only during that particular game, obviously same team can appear in the same round for two or more different players and it is allowed.
I was just getting into the game a bit more before the 1st penalty (shocking decision!). That set me right back.2nd half you steam rollered me.

I need to check out what teams are 4 stars that i can use, so far i've played with a few sides and not found one that i'm comfortable with.
Don't be fooled by the fact I got beaten 7-0 when using Lille. They're very good.

Napoli are heads and shoulders above anyone else. They are a class above most 4 and a half stars sides as well.

I played as Napoli and really didn't get on with them, i've also tried Fiorentina and Sunderland and none of them felt right.
I want to try out some more teams on 4 star before my game.
When I played Zarlak I just jumped into CSKA without really thinking it through - more to do with not keeping the guy waiting on the team select screen which annoys me when it happens for ages to me.
