wii is more of a social thing really, you dont really buy it to play games by yourself or to go online and have fun with your buddies, it is a social console(a very successful one at that). They got a couple of very impressive titles but mostly its about the wiimote and all that.

Well, we will say that the PS3 has certain games that do have the best graphics of this console generation. Audio is a no-brainer.
No, my cousin has one and the graphics truey are shit. Gameplay is only good in multiplayerl, that is the only good thing about the Wii

Very Recent: I haven't played but - Crysis, Stalker, Fear, Far cry.
Old but still modern games like Max Payne, Project IGI, and Hitman were good.
Other more Multi-player focused: Quake, Call of Duty, Half-life + Counterstrike, Battliefield 1942, Unreal Tournament.
Obviously you can get Halo and whatever as well because you don't have these shitty exclusives you see on consoles - PC > Consoles

Virtual Console is the best thing about the Wii which doesn't really give that much of a multi player experience. On top of that I've seen nor played anything on PS3 or 360 as good as the Twilight Princess or No More Heroes and Wii has a much more diverse and interesting list of upcoming games because publishers are desperate to get games on it. Buying the cheapest console has proven are smart move recently unless you're a tech head obsessed with power or have a preference to individual games.

I'll get a Wii in a few weeks. It's a cracking console. I don;t care that the specs aren't upto PS3 standards. It offers a different type of gaming. And that's a good thing.
