The New Kits Thread

Went on a retro splurge in the last month:

You pay much for them feeks? Went through my old ones the last day, my mother bought all my jerseys in Large (the old "he'll grow into them" idea), so they all still fit me, RESULT!

120 quid in total mate, not too bad.

She was a wise woman, wish I'd done that. Still, the cousin has them now, first step in the indoctrination. :D

Why would anyone buy a goalkeeping top?...they're all unanimously horrible.
I keep goals for my 5-a-side, said I'd get one on the cheap. Plus, I have a penchant for the wacky, as you can see top right as Rams pointed out, which I somehow quite like.

I think it would be a really good shirt if the hoops were on the sleeves and the back, you know, like a hooped shirt should be.

Precisely. I don't know anyone who wouldn't love for us to have a hooped shirt again. The back always looks shite and bland.

Not normally a fan of adidas, but I like these. I'm a fan of grandad collars on football shirts, the 1995 Newcastle kits that had them were the best they've ever had in my opinion.

Also, Biscuit, your away:

WBA away kit for next season. I think it'd be nicer if the Asian lettering was the same colour as the Bodog text. Still like it though.

O Neills? I didn't think they made kits outside of Ireland.

Small manufacturers always bugger up the simple things. Why are the crest and logo practically in the armpits of the shirt? They need to be an inch or two higher up and closer together. Still a massive improvement on the last one that Admiral managed to feck up with a collar that could have comfortably accommodated Joseph Merrick.

It doesn't look much like O'Neill's usual stuff, to be fair, I'd guess they got a pretty budget deal.

Horrible, horrible badge though. I prefer the old one that Rep Ireland had in the USA world cup.

I wonder if Liam Gallaghoh is aware that human mouths can close all the way. Pigeons probably fly into his on occassion.
