The New Kits Thread

 i like

I hate sponsors of any kind on football shirts. I grew up with Sharp, so I can stand that as it reminds me of my first United shirts, but still imagine them without and they are much more pure.

I don't like being made into a "walking billboard" as Aon so nicely put it:

Manchester United global reach builds a global platform for the Aon brand:

Approximately 6.6 million shirts are sold each year (official/non-official). Provides Aon with 6.6 million "walking billboards".

The one quoted above is probably the nicest

im wondering if anyone on here, apart from the Irish lads, know what the word Aon meansI

I'm Irish :D

But I had to look it up :(

It's kinda ironic considering the arguing between fans.

Stade Rennais, but I'm only posting for the uber-gay posing

Ruined by the sponsor.

Why? Without the sponsor it just looks like one of those team 5 a side kits you can buy for a fiver a shirt

Everyone seems to like bland, minimalistic shirts in here. I prefer the ones that are distinctive, got that little bit of extra something, not just bits and bobs on for the sake of it, but which goes well together

I bet you were one of those feckers who started the trend of wearing pink boots in the nineties, weren't you?

Flashy git.:)

Hehe not pink, but I was the only player in my Sunday League team to play with some lovely silver boots for a time. They were gorgeous, wish I could remember what they were. Nike but I forget the model name

Despicable.

My mum bought me a pair of white boots once as a gift. I threw them back in her face and started crying my eyes out and stamping my feet. I said 'Mum, it's so unfair, those look absolutely ridiculous. I'm 26 years of age, for christ's sake'.

That's how I get shit done.

I dunno, that Ireland shirt is pretty fecking hawt.

There's something about green kits on a green pitch that has never been right for me.
