The New Kits Thread

The lightweight font of the sponsor logo ruins it in my opinion. Something heavy, like the old Candy logo, would work much better.

I hate it when they fade out the club badge like that, it looks shite. Not a bad kit but the proper badge would make it nicer.

As far as I'm aware, it was Adidas that introduced that green colour to Liverpool's kits - they never used it before this away kit in 1991:

I don't understand why they added it to the badge because it looks shit. The way they've done it on this shirt in just red and white looks loads better. They've done a gold version on the third kit: Link

Forgot about that one, christ thats quite shocking really 3 kits in no more than 8 years that look pretty much exactly the same

And all of them lasting two years each! So thats essentialy 6 years of the same shirt

I'm convinced that's why Nike bring out unpopular kits like the 2008-10 home for Arsenal - where fans see their arses because the sleeves are not all white - just so they can release one almost idenetical to the previous one that will sell like hotcakes to relieved traditionalists. To be fair though, there's not really a great deal you can do with kits nowadays that hasn't been done before.

Brilliant all three of them. Red and black always a sexy combination.

Which is what made me wonder why Nike put a blue chevron on our away kit when a red one would have looked far better and far more intimidating.

As for the Milan kits - I don't like the home as the stripes are too wide. The away looks like he's got a Superman-style cape tucked into the collar for some reason. Third kit is good though.

i was disappointed to see the blue chevron infact that whole chevron thing was bad.

Didn't notice that earlier but now yes, it does seem Pato has a superman style cape.
The home one is pretty decent. The last one is brilliant.

All football kits are ugly and girls will think you are an idiot if your wear it on the street.

The Arsenal away looks like a great design.

Why have Nike come up with 2 crap kits for us?

They haven't, just one. I'd have gladly taken that Arsenal away template but in white, although it would look very similar to the new Liverpool away.

New City shirt - massively different to last season's:

A new photo of the Spurs home shirt (still minus sponsor):

I see Juve have the same shitty lightning stripes as our away. That Marseille shirt is chavtastic, and the St. Pauli shirt is about as good as brown home shirt ever can be - but regardless of shirt it's great to see St. Pauli back in the top flight, just hope they don't end up selling out to stay there.

St Pauli have had some great home shirts recently. This new one though...not so much...although it does look like they've gone to town on the post-processing effects.

As much as I'm not a fan of the lightening stuff, could you imagine if they'd done that away kit for us but with red and black flashes down the centre? Would have at least been different - and much better than what they did design for us, sadly.
