What irks me is that he has been a miserable cnut since the day he got here and most of us foolishly gave him the benefit of the doubt.
He seems to only show any emotion and joy when he's showing off about past achievements or proving someone wrong. The inconvenience of managing United plays second fiddle to his massive hideous ego.

Has he even done anything of note tactically this season? IMO he hasn't, even though it's the one thing that he is pretty damn good at (grudging admission here).

Yeah, at this point, he just wants out, he knows well that he's fecked it all up again. The mind boggles really, he had the biggest opportunity of his career to finally settle down and build a long lasting legacy.

The goose is already cooked. Only question is whether losing to Arsenal will be the final straw.

So this idiot is now implying that the squad that has been built for over £700 fecking million since Fergie retired is not good enough for top four?

Just sack the cnut already.
And he expects them to perform for him? Would you?
I have a shit director. No matter how hard I work and no matter the good results, I'm continiously underpaid. I used to stay late but just decided what's the point? Now I leave on time and give no fecks. I do my work within the allotted time and then what's not done will just have to wait for the next day.

If you have a boss shitting on you, all motivation goes out the window. I can really understand how the lads feel.

It was an idiotic decision to appoint Mourinho by Woodward. I didn't believe the speculation that LVG was to be replaced by Mourinho, at the time.

I thought, there is no way, Manchester United would appoint a defensively minded coach with a very dark track record. Poking an opposing coach in the eye ( from behind ), bullying a female doctor, pushing a kid over on his bike etc etc.

On the assumption the club pay any attention to the comments on their social media posts I took a look at FB.

If they do look they'll not be in any doubt about what the fans want

They don't though. I'm pretty sure there were similar comments during LVG and Moyes days. It's all business for Woodward. Football results don't matter much anymore.

The points needed to catch back up with the teams currently fighting for top 4 is only 8 points!.

Yes it's going to be tough and yes it probably won't happen. I'm the first person to say that. But it is doable. 8 points isn't alot.

We still have to play Liverpool twice, arsenal twice and Chelsea, spurs and city once more. It is doable.!

I agree with us being a laughing stock. We have allowed Liverpool to overtake us. They are miles better than us and they seem to have a structure that allows for steady progression, something that has been so erratic with us. I personally think we have very good squad that just needs a new direction. A new manager with an attacking ethos to come in and say 'forget about the past, let's move forward' would do us wonders. Yes we need new players, especially in defence but we have some great young players and some good experience too. We have for too long said that pogba needs a midfield around him that utilizes his strengths, and us also needing a right winger but Jose hasn't bought the midfield we need yet and he swapped our only right winger for yet another left winger. It's only gaps in the team we need filling at this point.

The future could be good, and could turn around very quickly if only woody just did what was needed to be done. A new manager, and a good budget in the summer amd we could see that change in fortunes.

All nice to think about. Fact remains that 5 points is the largest gap to 4th spot that’s ever been overhauled from this stage in PL history. So to think we’ll make it is optimistic. The reason is that after 14 games, it’s not “luck” that sees such a gap but genuine performance issues and it takes both at least two teams to have a complete reversal of form in order to see their positions swapped - something that’s obviously not a high probability situation.

I agree, but the question for me is why are we waiting as the long we wait the less chance we get of getting top 4 - as you said, he's gone.

Personally I'd love Carrick or McKenna to take over for the rest of the year and just rally the players based on what has happed the first 4 months of the year. I don't think getting someone like Zizu in at this point would do any good as he doesn't know the league etc.

Just want Ed to grow some balls for once and be harsh as to why the fecker has been sacked but that won't happen obviously

Is He still here?....it’s amazing that this Coward has kept his job and Sparky lost his job for failing to beat us.

A squad that Mourinho has put together
He hasn't put all of it together, 9/24 is about what he's contributed, there's still players hanging around from the SAF era who've been here under all 3 failed tenures.

I'd take McKenna to be honest and see if Muelensteen and Phelan are available to assist him.
I can get behind him especially if he throws a few young lads in there. We have nothing to lose. At least let's go back to our identity.

The Caf is not a representation of the fanbase.

The fans will be firmly with the manager on Wednesday.
Neither are you, as much as you seem to think you are.

Whilst Redcafe does not represent the entire fanbase, it is a fairly strong indicator as to how we feel in general.

There were murmurs of discontent emanating from the match going fans during the Southampton game. Lose to Arsenal on Wednesday and he will have lost them entirely.

Your false idol is on his last legs I'm afraid.

If we get stuffed I guarantee you there will be lots of boos. He’s on his last chance especially after recent comments.

We will see how much Jose cares.

He's not my idol at all.

I wouldn't give a shit if he was sacked tomorrow. It makes no difference. We are fecked with these owners, board and players.

People on here think that I think Mourinho will turn this around when I'm with everybody else that he won't even get close.

The difference is that I don't think another manager will do anything therefore I can't bring myself to really have a go at the manager.

I err towards wanting Mourinho sacked actually because then the players will surely have nowhere to hide?

The fans that I see who have booed at any point in the last 6 years, it's nearly always been directed at the players.

Moyes received a lot of support, there was general booing under Van Gaal but it wasn't aimed just at the manager and quite rightly because the players should have taken responsibiliy, just as they should now.

If we get stuffed by Arsenal the fans will boo. The man does not deserve the support anymore.

Mourinho is acting like he doesn't care and i honestly think he doesn't.
Personally i think he thought he would have a league and a champions league won by now and have one eye on retiring but it's not worked out and he's stuck between a rock and a hard place.
No way he'll walk, he'll ride utd til the wheels fall off.

The fans won’t be with the manager, they’ll be there to support the “team”. No fan in their right mind can support that man, it’s inconceivable at this point.
People who pay good money will support the players and the club, because who wants to pay good money on negativity? Might as well support the players and sing the songs if you already there
Extra love for Paul please, let him know the fans are not buying into Mourinho’s bullshit.

They booed LVG off when we got beaten by Norwich.
And its reached the same stage now . Another bad result will tip fans over the edge

Thank God they're still here, who would Jose play when all the players he bought are benched?

How do you figure? Would you elaborate how you think? Not having a go at you, genuinely interested in hearing why you think no other manager can do any better.

I was told by a fellow United fan on a FB group the other day that I need to reassess my opinions on the club or 'find another sport with less honor and tradition/history'. This was simply because I expressed my displeasure at Mourinho and the direction he's taking us. That guy is from Manchester (lives in Atlanta) and thinks he better represents the fan-base and match going supporters at large. I guess we should all just bite our tongues and pretend everything is great. Im pretty sure a lot of match going supporters in Manchester are fed up of Mourinho and have no problems expressing it. Where does this holier than though mentality come from?

What are we waiting for?! This is so perplexing. I can't find one logical reason why to keep him.

It's the same thing as it was with Moyes and Van Gaal - wait until mathematical chances for a top 4 finish are lost so Mourinho can get a lower severance pay.

Can't really find any other "logical" explanation as I don't think even Woody is that deluded to believe Mourinho can turn it around.

“Your job now is to stand by the new manager”

Maybe some of them forgot that SAF was talking about the manager who was coming into the job after him, before his first day at the office even, let alone the third season under the third manager after him, and they keep following it like sheep without even thinking over what he was actually saying.

Forget the results, the horrid football, they way he keeps disrespecting the club and the throwing players under the bus, is what pisses me off, a lot more than the results.

He's pretty much saying our chances of top are over. That alone should get him sacked, but Woodward being gutless does nothing about it. What a mess we're in.

Anyone who thinks he can turn this around is delusional.

It annoys me so much - we could of got rid of him a while ago and tried to salvage this season. Instead we’ll flounder to the end of the season to pay him off cheaper.

I wonder what's in these managers' contracts. If I spoke about my employers the way this guy has, I doubt any law would save me from the sack. He's also hurting the 'business' so how on earth would we still owe him a huge payout?
