Only a Pulis team, I mean a Mourinho team would sit back and try to protect a one goal deficit with ten minutes to go.

Pathetic performance. He's a total coward of a man. It's not even the losing that's the problem, you can lose away to a top side, no biggie but that performance was just a joke, we barely even attempted to get back in to it or if we did we just have no quality or attacking patterns whatsoever, either way it's his fault.

Don't bring this rubbish about us not being able to compete in either, Liverpool are in their heads so much that City didn't let Walker and Mendy cross the half way line at Anfield. They are an exceptional team but aren't unstoppable.

I'll tell you what, Juve away was shit as well, people kidding themselves it was a good performance, we should have been 4 down and stole it with set pieces, nice to win but it's not a sustainable way of playing.

For the love of christ Woodward, sack him!

Give me a reason to watch the rest of the season.

Well it doesn’t look like we’re getting top four, so you’ll all get your wish. Let’s see what the next guy does..

Lads, we've been here plenty of times this season. He will be here minimum until the end of the season. We will be playing Europa League football next season.

This up again?

The Juve win earned him time. He won't be sacked because of this. He will be gone when we finish the season 6th and with a GD of minus 10. Rein it in and suck it up.

Our standards are so fecking low at the minute, I imagine Mourinho will be patted on the back for lasting 80 minutes only a goal down. What a shower this side is. Top middle and bottom.

It’s clear to me that our problems are solely with the coaching of our players. City look a drilled unit where the players know what positions to take and runs to make. Ours are just hoping someone pulls something out of the bag. It’s pathetic

We're 8th place. We play like a midtable team. We haven't got the balls to sack Mourinho like the real biggest club in the world (i.e. Madrid).

I can honestly say I will love it when he's sacked.

Even more so than when Moyes was sacked (and that was a fecking brilliant day).

It's not solely our issue. Some of our players are quite simply not good enough.

He’s not getting sacked because he’s lost the Derby away at against arguably one of the best sides English football has seen.

He will be gone end of the season, we’ve just got to hang in there. We must not finish fourth.

Get fourth and he will be given another contract extension.

Ordinarily, we should have a run of games until the calendar year, where I would want us to really only drop points once, maybe twice, until the New Year. Today was always going to be tough.

It's nice to see the Mourinho fanboys being bought down to Earth. When push comes to shove, this is Mourinho and this is his football. The fluke at Juve bought him time but he's been exposed for the fraud he truly is.

Also Matic can do one and get the feck out of this club. He's just a big lump that offers nothing.

Not looking likely so far. Back to square one on the table, this thread will also be back to square one.
I tried to be optimistic....

We need to bin José sooner rather than later. Our board have wasted yet another season keeping him on.

We need structure more than a new manager. We seem hell bent on being the only club in football to live in the past

Imagine if this was how low Madrid and Barcelona allowed their teams to stoop down to before sacking the person responsible.

There'a a reason why they dominate the continent consistently while we are stuck since Fergie left. We are fast becoming dinosaurs to the modern football game.

Change Derby to Rival and English to Spanish and you get a club that react when needed

After 5 years of the Moyes debacle, the club find itself in the same situation while achieving and learning very little during this period.

I just want to see more. If we win the league Jose will claim it as his, if we don’t win it he must also take responsibility.

You can make the argument that City are a force of nature under Pep, but that doesn’t excuse the fact we’re 7th or 9th or whatever the feck we are. Awful fare today and there’s no excusing that.

Obviously that's true to an extent, but we still have a squad thats got so many players who are technically a lot worse than what City have.
Is that true? We play players with worse technique, but it’s not true that all of them have worse technique. If we started a team of Martial, Sanchez,Mata, Pogba, Fred, Pereira, Young,Bailly, Lindelöf and Shaw there’s a lot of quality there.
