haha
Is it me or do I feel like it’s the worst punch to get caught?
It’s cheap and dirty and worst of all it’s swing and hope... guys that get caught like that are fecking chumps. An overhand... seriously?
Yes. He gave Emmett the only route to victory he had, which was a hail mary punch. Dumb feck. Its embarrassing for Johnson, especially when you consider he was likely cruising to a win on points. Has no one but himself to blame.
It definitely affected Barbosa but even with the eye poke, Gaethje was already pretty aggressive with the leg kicks before that so I'm guessing the result would've been similar since he was beating Barbosa at his own game of kicking people into submission.

That was set up with a very clear level change fake takedown. Which part of that do you think is a swing and hope?

Didn't Khabib catch Conor with something similar.
Nothing wrong with a good overhand.
No bullshit style, in or out of the octagon.
Remember him crying when thug Rose won the title. Guy puts himself out there and it's awesome.
Conor just posted and deleted this on Twitter
Connor's a piece of shit. Telling Khabib not to be scared. Why the hell would he be scared or a rematch?
Probably fecked out of his mind on some shite when he posted that.
If hes got half a brain, he stays put of any match with Khabib. It isn't "just business" with Khabib. It's more personal now.
No, but where have I defended those views/actions by Khabib?Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't.
Do you thin Khabib was fecked out his mind on some shite whenever his views on certain topics come up? Or when he hangs around with dictators?
No, but where have I defended those views/actions by Khabib?
Am I not allowed to criticise Conor's actions alone after hrs just done them? Or do I have to condemn everyone every time I want to say something about McGregor?
Oh okay.No you don't, I never claimed you do have to condemn him either I mean I could send this round in circles....where did I say you have to do that?
You assumed he was fecked out his head my question was simply would you assume Khabib was fecked out his head for having his views? I'd guess not. It's hardly like McGregor is always fecked out his mind when he shit talks.
What makes me think, in this instance, Conor was fecked is that even he clearly thought he'd crossed the line when he decided to delete his tweet calling a burka a towel.
Oh okay.
Well no I don't assume Khabib is fecked out of his head. I'm fairly sure he doesn't drink or do drugs, whereas we all know Conor does.

If anything he seems completely sober since he actually deleted the tweet.
Sounds like a typical "Conor promoting a fight" kind of post, not that it makes it alright of course.
People really need to stop using this as an excuse for the likes of conor and trump.
Which part?
I don't think the President of the USA tweeting stuff and McGregor have quite the same impact in the world to be fair.
McGregor is a celebrity, people choose to read it or not....it should have no impact on anyones lives what so ever. Trump is the President of probably the most powerful country in the world, his tweets have actions and consequences to them.
The "he is doing this to promote a fight/ x doesnt believe this he is just saying it for y reasons". Its why some still argue that trump isnt racist or that he was going to pivot @Raoul
After a certain time you should just accept that that is who a person is.
I don't particularly pay attention to American politics (obviously I'm aware of Trump!) so won't get involved in that kind of stuff.
I think it's fair to assume McGregor is a dick with what is rumoured to happen in his personal life but I'd say it's fair to assume plenty of stuff he says is to hype up fights. Maybe he doesn't agree with the culture of the burka either and it is his view point but I think McGregor on twitter has far less impact than others and he probably does use it as a marketing tool quite a lot. Look through his tweets/instagram. 90% of it is whiskey or fight hype.

I also think its fair to assume that he is racist or atleast a bigot with his remarks over the years.
Yep, maybe so.
I've never particularly agreed with holding sports stars or celebrities up as pillars of society though. They are just people who happen to be in the lime light and never really took it on themselves to be role models. They are bound to have views that people won't agree with or stuff they have done...as I am sure you and I both do.
Conor with stuff like this and the current allegations against him IF they are true
Khabib is a racist, homophobe who hangs around with dictators
Anthony Johnson has a history of domestic violence
Jon Jones and the steroid stuff
Anderson Silva and the steroid stuff
That's without really thinking either I'm sure there's plenty of other examples and that's just MMA!
But I wouldn't compare any of them to Trump or any other politician who do use social media for all the wrong reasons considering their status.
