Kevin Lee missed weight and apparently doesn't get more time to lose the further pound (weighed 157.)

He clearly has issues making the weight, struggled vs. Tony as well (albeit he had a staph)

Barboza has accepted the fight btw so it still goes ahead.

Lee needs to move up imo. He's more in the Woodley body type and should fight in that division.

Yeah agreed. Albeit I don't know if he's to small for WW considering the weight cuts they do as well. The whole system is stupid but we've done that topic to death probably! He could do with a weight in between the 2 really.

I like the guy as well and hope he wins this but it is obvious the way things are at the moment he probably doesn't have a future at LW.

I've thought for ages that the common sense thing is to make a 165 'Super Lightweight' division and make Welterweight 175. Then you have weight classes all the way up in increments of 10 from 125 to 185. There aren't too many fighters above that weight and the difference in size is less impactful so it makes sense to keep LHW and HW as they are imo. In the past there wasn't enough talent to make it viable but now the UFC could easily support a 165 division and still put on great fights.

I really hope Covington gets smashed to bits. Don't get me wrong, I won't pay to see it, because that would be being sucked into his lame little act, but by god I want to see him pulped.

What an asshole.

I hope so too, but i doubt RDA has many chances. I can see him being ragdolled around the cage.

come on please score it for Gadehla, feck Serra Longo.

edit. feck yeah! it didn't went to the judges, Simon won by submission on the last second.

Damn, I wish Barboza could have capitalised on that head kick, but Lee's instincts kicked in and he reacted well with the instant takedown attempt. Barboza's a great fighter but he struggles to beat the wrestlers and probably always will.

Barboza was clearly astonished that Lee had the audacity to break into the funky chicken mid fight. That took balls.

Ngannou vs. Lewis could be hilarious after the first round! Could be like Kimbo vs Dada 2.

Glad Lee won, really like him and it's a new young name in an already stacked division. The worry is if he can make championship weight really, he didn't this weekend and has struggled in the past.

UFC has some options now with Porier and Lee waiting. Conor is obviously the 1 they want to take the Khabib fight but I reckon Ferguson is the one whos been hard done by here when he returns he'll be way down the pecking order.
