No clue where Barao goes after that loss. Looked fine in the first round and then struggled after Stephens landed in the second, was eating plenty of shots after that. Stephens is a guy he needs to be beating, big loss IMO.

A couple of new fights made in Arlovski/Barnett for Fight Night 92 and Werdum/Rothwell for 203, two good fights.

In other news, asshole Caraway won last night and is lobbying for a title shot. I'd enjoy seeing him get his face smashed in by Cruz.

I doubt know what it is about Brazilian fighters... Give them a bit of trash talk and they turn into scared school children

Anyone here plan on going to UFC 200? I have 4 tickets to the event I need to sell on, bunch of mates planned on going and bought tickets but now that Mcgregor won't be fighting they don't fancy it. I'm still going though. PM me if you want the info just selling for face value and trying to shift asap

still quite a lot of seats left from the venue... you may have more luck when your over there (though if it does not sell out you may have to take a loss on them)

Glad I didn't bother watching this. Sadly I'll miss next weeks event as well as I'll be mid flight across the Atlantic.

Im gonna miss the event this weekend.

Im flying to Lima tonight...

edit. and Faber too!

Quite a few people I know who are avid UFC fans are skipping 199 for one reason or another, not the least of which the main card getting changed.

Yeah I think the problem is on paper the main events are pretty much dead certs (I do think 1 of Faber or Bisping might surprise people though) I'm quite looking forward to it myself I do like all 4 fighters involved but can see why people wouldn't think it's worth paying for or watching. Probably the advantage of getting it free on BT Sport in England don't have to worry about the money for it really.

The press conference yesterday was one of the funniest I've seen as well, 3 very funny talkers and Rockhold,

I had a fiver in my Paddy Power account and have bought into the hype and put it on Faber and Bisping both to win returns 125 quid....I know it won't happen but couldn't resist really.

Press Conference video for those who haven't seen it, it's worth watching:

Gets going about 18mins in, the guy before Dana White doesn't say anything interesting really.

That might be changing soon...

my predictions:

Rockhold vs. Bisping
Cruz vs. Faber
Holloway vs. Lamas
Henderson vs. Lombard
Poirier
vs. Green

As in BT sport charge or it moves to Sky?? I've thought it would move to Sky for a while as they are heavily promoting it on Twitter etc and Sky never talk about anything they don't show (they barely mentioned the FA Cup, it was all LVG sacking...I don't think they mentioned the CL for more than 10 seconds.)

Realistic prediction wise for me contradicting my bet I'd go

Rockhold
Faber
Holloway
Lombar
Poirier

Guida vs. Ortega on the prelims will be a good fight as well.

Sorry I'm not allowed to say. I'll PM you.

feck off Sky Sports and that Australian criminal who runs them. If they get the license for UFC the scum will be charging for PPV via Sky Box Office.

PS Rockhold is going to murder Bisping. He's so out of depth.

Lol Bisping getting cheered and Rockhold getting booed at the weigh-ins in his own state. Bisping's trash talk strategy seemed to work out at least.

Rockhold vs. Bisping
Cruz vs. Faber
Holloway vs. Lamas
Henderson vs. Lombard
Poirier vs. Green

Bisping winning would be so brilliant but I can't see where he can beat Rockhold in this fight outside of a great shot catching him. On the other side, Faber winning would be an absolute nightmare, would love to see Cruz finish him.

There have been so many upsets and belt changes the last few years that I have to believe that one of Bisping or Faber (maybe both) are going to win. I can't see Bisping winning in any way other than a decision but Faber vs. Cruz is an incredibly personal, long running battle and that makes the outcome less predictable.

It's just good to see Cruz fighting so soon after his last match-up, hopefully he has his injuries under control now.

If I had to bet:
Bisping to get KTFO
Faber to sneak a submission win.

Yeah I think Faber might win, dunno why as Cruz is one of the best pound for pound fighters around, he seemed ridiculously focused at the weigh in though. I hope Faber and Bisping win, like all fighters involved but it'd be nice to see it.

What time does this start?

The prelims start at 1, main card at 3 so main event will be a late one.

Rock hold seems to really hate this fight. Looks very uninterested.

Can't see him losing though. He is top 5 p4p IMO and there is no area that Bisping is better then him. Just got to hope he comes in less focused.

Bisping cannot in any way beat Rockhold unless it's a complete lucky shot. He has had no time to prepare, was on a movie set and is fighting a guy that man handled him last time. Rockhold has looked really strong and will take a fully camped contender to give him trouble... maybe a rematch with Weidman or Jacare would be interesting but I'd be gobsmacked if Bisping has anything to worry Luke.

I hope Cruz destroys Faber. Cant stand that dude and Cruz is my favourite fighter. Only problem is that this is a personal fight but I hope Cruz can remain objective and do what needs to be done.

FP Prelims are starting in 15 minutes. Think I'll have to stay up for the long haul tonight, it's not every day a Brit fights for a title.

Not looking forward to this for some reason. Ill catch it tomorrow but it doesn't even match up to the last fight night imo

What a crazy first fecking fight!:lol:

Round of the year to start things off. That's not a bad way to build the hype for the night.

:lol::lol: I'm absolutely laughing my arse off here.

Honestly, this is the best fight in UFC history if you don't take into account the magnitude of the fight.
