Maia is so good!
Isn't it time for a title shot soon?

I thought Miocic would win. He seemed focused while Werdum looked far too relaxed and festive coming out.

"I'm a world champion!"

"This is for her, my fiancee (pointing at the big guy with moustache), my coaches..."

Just caught up with the card. Heavyweights man. With those small gloves and guys that big anyone can drop at any time. Pretty sloppy of Werdum to go chasing Stipe like that though, didn't fight as smart as usual.

Not a fan of Stipe but loved seeing him shut the Brazilian fans up with the last fight of the night. Some of the most disrespectful MMA fans out there.

Made all the better that they cheered when Werdum charged in for an exchange before he got KO'd

Also Shogun needs to retire. He looked really fecking slow and out of shape.

The state of boxing and MMA is just sad. So little talent. All these match-ups between washed-up old guys and talent-free young guys.

HW seems wide open now - anyone among Cain, JDS, Reem, or Miocic can be champs

Yeah, said this on here the other day that the Heavyweight division is wide open. As I mentioned, Cain and JDS at one stage were a class above the rest but that's not so much the case now (although I still feel JDS beats the majority of HW's but the Overeem fight showed he can get caught now, don't think that would have happened two/three years back. Cain's is arguably more down to injuries, the Browne fight will tell us a lot about him).

Bizarre statement. Not sure if you're on a wind up with that?

Weidman out!!! I think Bisping will get shot but would much prefer Jacare seen as he beat Vitor unscathed

Just pull the fight. 199 is on the 4th June. No way can either Bisping or Jacare be 100% for that fight.

Fecking Weidman is always getting injured.

Bisping would get dispatched with ease on two and half weeks notice.

Bisping could be likely. Probably too short notice for Jacare plus he's a lock for the next (planned) TS so might not think stepping in on short notice is worth it anyway.

Coincidentally that's also 3 out of 3 arguably undeserved immediate rematches which haven't gone ahead in 2016, in all 3 the loser from the previous fight has pulled out. (Cain, McGregor, Weidman). It's like the MMA gods are telling the UFC to cut that shit out.

FFS!!

On one hand, i feel happy for Weidman because i think he was gonna get mauled this time. The damage to his head from last fight was way too much and i seriously doubt he would 100% with only 6 months of recovery (feck you Herb Dean). Rockhold is entering his prime and i think no fighter could beat him fighting at anything less than 100% condition.

On the other hand, i feel pissed because Rockhold get to dodge Jacare for now and probably gonna fight Bisping, who i really like and ill be rooting for, but being honest, cant see him getting past the second round. Easy night for Rockhold.

It's a shame Romero cant fight till July.

Just getting annoying at this point, great fight after great fight getting cancelled. Was seriously looking forward to that fight, two absolute great fighters, could have easily seen it going either way.

Bisping really does look like the only option if they want to keep Rockhold on the card unless Jacare can somehow make it, there's nobody outside of that. They're all either injured, suspended, coming off of a loss or booked for future shows.

Realistically, Jacare won't take this fight so soon after his last one, no way.

Bisping is the only real choice because if you look at the top 10, the only other fighters after Bisping who can take the fight are Mousasi and Uriah Hall. Yes those two have camps behind them I guess but from the three of these fighters, Bisping would be the most logical option.

Plus it seems like a ready made excuse to get Bisping into a title shot and out the way for when Jacare and Romero are ready for that title.

They best hope Cruz stays fit or that card will lose it's spark...

The logical thing to do would be to move the fight to another UFC (202?) and have Cruz v Faber, which is still a title fight be the headliner at 199.

Agree on Bisping. I think they may just give it him to say he finally got a title shot and they'd back Rockhold to beat him easily, gets him out the way then.

I think the card is pretty good though. You're right it would lose some spark but there's good names on it still. BJ Penn, Holloway and Poirer are all good fighters. They'd be unlucky if Cruz got injured but it definitely isn't beyond the realms of possibility!

yup it’s the perfect opportunity to give it to Bisping, otherwise even with his Silva win and longevity it was always hard to justify giving him a shot

I would LOVE it if Bisping knocks the smug look off of Rockhold's face but realistically, Rockhold will smash Bisping into the middle of 2017

I think Michael could make it interesting, but feel Rockhold would submit him at some point in the first two rounds.
