I'm really liking Tony Ferguson. That guy needs a push and should surely now get some well deserved limelight.

Glad to see KOS get his ass handed to him. I really don't like that guy. Let's see if Ellenberger can use this victory to kick start his career again.

What the feck was Zingano thinking? Seems like she had a rush of blood to the head and saw red. It seemed like she was being controlled by Roy Keane.
 
It's crazy how she just keeps winning with the armbar though, I mean everyone knows she's going to use it yet they cant do anything about it. The woman who fought before her (forget her name but the ex boxing champion) didn't look anything special either, Ronda will have her beat within the first round as well.
 
The only person I thought would have any chance against her was Sara McMahon. I wrongly assumed her Olympic level wrestling would negate Rousey's judo.

She then goes to be TKO'd standing up.

Ronda's too good. Cyborg doesn't stand a chance.

I think the fighter that does beat her will be a vicious striker. A couple of fights ago, Rousey was getting tagged pretty well...cant remember who it was she was fighting...hence why I think Cyborg would have a good chance. That being said Rousey will make her drop the whole ten pounds before she fights her...she wont meet her at a catch weight.

I think Rousey overkill is coming soon...shes already a bit annoying, and shes making cameos in all these films and apparently making a movie with whats his name from The Raid. Can't fault her for taking advantage of her opportunities though.
 
I can't see a vicious striker doing much to Rousey unfortunately, see looks the type that can take a punch. Her biggest asset is that as soon as she goes to ground, she's on top of the game whether her opponent is on her back or not. As good a striker as Correia is, she will need to have excellent takedown defence in order to keep Rousey from winning the fight. I can't see that happening to be honest.
 
So predictions for UFC 185?

Chris Cariaso will lose UD to Henry Cejudo
My boy The Reem will knockout Big Country (I hope)
Hendricks will beat Brown via KO
Esparza will be dethroned
And Pettis will beat Dos Anjos, but only just...

I'm more of a boxing kind of guy, so from that perspective I'd like to see Holly Holm get a shot at Rousey.
I've no idea how the UFC works, do they always have to fight the no.1 contender or can they have a voluntary defence against who they choose?
Most of Rousey's top contenders are women that she's already beaten.
From a legacy perspective, Cyborg at a catchweight would be the one that I'm sure they will build toward. But it's patently obvious that that woman is on a steroid cocktail of East German proportions....
 
Duffy looked great. Way too easy for him. He has joined GSP's gym which is pretty amazing but they say he wants to drop to featherweight which looking at the size of him looks impossible

The standard of fighter he will be fighting will be so much better than what he is used to and much better than the cannon fodder that they set him up with tonight. He might have to find a way to drop.

I was not impressed with Holly Holm at all in her debut. Her punches look like they have no power. On that performance, Ronda will beat her within two minutes.
 
Cejudo looked good once again, if he can grab hold of Mighty Mouse then he has a great chance to beat him.

Reem needs to kick the body/head of Nelson, can't be safe to mix the hands up with him given his suspect chin could easily be destroyed by Big Country.

Brown never been KO'd, Hendricks looked great at the weigh ins though.

Women's title fight will be a good match stylistically, Esparza's wrestling is insane though.

Pettis can't have like seeing his brother get KO'd like that, will it play on his mind, he should win easily other wise.

Really shows the difference between MMA and boxing considering she's supposedly one of the best woman's welterweight boxers of all time.
 
Why the feck doesn't Nelson just drop 20 pounds and work on his core so he doesn't get gassed so easily and can take kicks better.
