Very sad. Probably the end for Anderson as he's not likely to recover from that for a very long time.

Can't think of a worse way for that to end!

Silva's career looks over here.

Im not even sure if i should put a gif and spoiler it for people who didnt see it. feckin sick :(

Silva didn't look at all the same fighter, he was losing and hadn't gone into hyper-speed mode yet.

He just doesn't look motivated. What a way to end the fight, I hope he recovers, but I don't see him back in the UFC.

Shitty for the both of them, obviously Anderson much more so.

I'd imagine that's Andersons career done. :(
Career?

Think it's going to take him years to be able to walk and run properly again.

What a horrible way for his time in the ring to end.

As soon as I saw his leg/heard the pop and he went down, I closed the window. Don't need to see a replay.

feck that has bummed me out, awful result and a terrible end for one of the best ever. Anderson absolutely deserved better.

We also don't know what would have happened if the fight had gone on as well, Anderson definitely lost the first but he's done that before and managed to stop take downs in later rounds. Point is that Weidman doesn't even get the satisfaction of beating him properly with this result.. Really can't think of a worse way that could have gone

Yep, everything about this is completely shit.

It really was the worst way to finish though. Silva has the worst end after such a fantastic career, to end with an injury like that is horrible.
And then Weidman doesnt get the satisfaction of knowing what would have happened. People say his first fight he won cos Silva was dicking around and the 2nd was stopped like this. Damn :(

Rhousey claims Mischa Tate disrespected some of her coaches and fighters on the UFC reality show. She considers them her family(they are not relatives)

Tate said nothing directly about her family and it's difficult to know what she has done wrong to the coaches and reality show fighters either.

It just sounds a way to justify RHousey's constant taunting and disrespect of Tate which is either an act or real. Difficult to know.

Tate's only ever said things about Rhousey and none of them are that disrespectful. It's her husband that said he would knock Rhousey out on twitter after Rhousey's constant trash talking of Tate which left Tate open for even more shit from Rhousey.

Oh. Yeah I was thinking that I never heard Tate slagging off Ronda's family, who is basically just her mother anyway. I don't blame Tate for slagging off Ronda's main coach (I can't remember his name). He is a prick of the highest order.

Caraway is a prick too. But Miesha actually apologized for what he did, so that should have been the end of it. It was about 3 years ago anyway.

Anderson is yelling at the top of his lungs on the stretcher backstage. I've never heard anything like that. A horrible sound.

I'm going to remember that Anderson scream forever. You try not to get emotional here but it was truly heart-breaking. A cruel end.

:(

Just really depressed tbh no words can describe my disbelief of what just happened, all the wait for this match and for it to end like this is very sad

Aye, Weidman will have that hanging over him, no "clean" win.

How much of an effect would his age have on his recovery time? He's never going to fight again, I guess, I just read a story about a similar fracture and it was two years before they could run and even then it hurt a little.
