That was fecking shit!

Thought it would be good as well

You are spot on about Ellenberger as well, no answer for the jab

I don't think Dana will give either of these turds a title shot fighting like that.

Let the winner of Hendrikx vs GSP fight Lawler!

The most exciting thing about that fight night was the trailer for the next TUF ffs.

 Oh, and what was up with Chiesa running off after the fight? Dana won't be very pleased with that...

I thought there were a good few fights on it! Ed Herman against Trevor Smith was a good scrap, so was the title fight, Robbie Lawler looked excellent and Danzig vs Guillard was pretty good too. Enjoyed it.

Still though, Aldo vs Korean Zombie on Saturday:drool:

I'd be amazed if the Korean Zombie got a win. He will just keep on walking into Aldo and Aldo will just pick him off.

As for McDonald and Ellenberger, that was the biggest letdown of any fight I have ever seen. I expected it to be good. It was awful. McDonald does not deserve a title shot after that. Imagine how boring him against GSP would be.

Mcdonald and Ellenberger was shocking. Someone might as well have taken a dump in the ring and trained a camera on it for 15 mins. So disappointing.

Aldo v Zombie looks like a bit of a mismatch to me. I expect Aldo to take him apart in the stand up. But you never know...

Just a heads up that the UFC releated stuff starts at 11 tonight, BT Sport 1.

UFC - The Story So Far - 11pm
UFC Countdown 163 - 12am
Live UFC 163 Prelims - 1am
Live UFC 163 - 3am

7 hour marathon

First time in ages I don't have to stream it, cant wait

Aldo vs KZ does seem a mismatch but anything can happen

Ouch.

Jaysus apparently Aldo broke his foot in the first round

Thats why he was throwing so few kicks but he still managed to win without his best weapon

The Zombie looked so hesitant, the only way he was ever going to win that fight was to absorb serious damage in order to get into range to hurt Aldo.

Also pretty amazing that Aldo was able to hide his broken foot such that the Zombie didn't go after it.

The Machida one for me was a joke. I can't see how Phil D won that. A coupla take downs at the end of round 1 & 2, which amounted to nothing. I guess it's karma. KZ got star struck, was a shadow of his usual self. Underwhelming night overall.

 How the feck did Phil Davis win that fight against Machida? These judges are fecking retarded, I swear to god.

Must have been triple point takedowns.
Yeah, dominate a complete fight but lose because you've been taken down twice. Are these judges braindead morons? They should start using their eyes more, that was one of the worst decisions in recent memory.

Anyone watching World Series of Fighting 4? Thoroughly enjoyed Griffin vs Cavalcante, just remains to be seen if Sefo and Spong's opponents can put up a decent fight. Watched a video of Spong training ground escapes with Rashad Evans and he looks stupidly quick and athletic even on the ground...following him closely as he could be a real prospect.

I see I'm the only sad bastard that stayed up for that! Spong was far less savage than I thought he'd be, but still controlled every second of every round against a semi-decent opponent. I'm still going to lead his hype train. Last little known fighter I touted on here turned out alright:

Delighted to see Walker win too. He's probably not going to do much beyond the odd novelty bout against Lashley, Batista etc, but what an athlete. Have you seen a heavyweight called Daniel Cormier yet? Former Olympic level wrestler with impressive striking too. Works in some surprisingly good uppercuts and hooks for a wrestler who's new to the sport Could be a threat at heavyweight before long, although he's on the short side for a heavyweight. Looks like he's carrying quite a bit of body fat too, but when you compare a Fedor's gas tank to a Carwin's its pretty clear that being leaner doesn't always correlate with being better conditioned.

Its time for the sherdog sonnen nuthuggers to realize that Sonnen is just an average fighter with great promotional skills.

Shogun's knees may not be the same but in a 5 round fight, I don't see anything but a finish.
