Harsh on Topuria. The Man City of fighters would definitely be a grapple-heavy smotherer who grabbed the cage and oil checked people

Nope, picked the guy off whenever he left gaps in his defence, hard to land on, never really committed though and so there didn't ever feel like there was much jeopardy in the fight. Better on his feet and on the ground and yet not brave enough to really go for it as not losing is the key knowing that you've enough skill to win the fight so long as you don't get knocked out.

I was mostly going with the cheating angle but whatever works for you :)

I disagree. What he did to Emmet in the fourth round especially was just diabolical brutality and I was amazed that Emmet survived. It was only in the fifth round that he looked content to take it to a decision. I can't wait to see him against Volk or Holloway.

Yep. Him coming out with knee sleeves in both knees was not the best sign.
He didn't look very mobile that's for sure, doesn't look like a fighter entering their prime which you might expect at 30 years old and should probably start planning his retirement.

Ruziboev with a clinical and ruthless finish, hopefully the rest of the card follows suit.

Strickland is in a good mood . Excellent performance in fairness. That looked like an interesting event on paper and so it proved. Some of the prospects looked incredible, Ruziboev and Fakhretdinov especially. I wasn't quite as bowled over by Morales as the commentators were. Fantastic athlete and clearly has talent, but he looked a bit prone to admiring his own work after he landed something rather than actually following up. Griffin is a spoiler though and not an easy guy to look good against. Magomedov wilted really badly out there, and it's going to be a tough road back from the manner of that defeat. Brito is very fun to watch. A bit gutted for Guram, but that comeback win for Brenner was class.

Glad they won 50k bonus.

I think that's pretty much the case. Sadly, already cut from the UFC. Feels like his body is busted and he came back for one more final paycheck.

Well-deserved! I see Sean Brady has had to pull out of the JDM fight, but at least they've arranged a short-notice replacement, a guy with a 7-0 record on the regional scene (all finishes) called Josiah Harrell. I thought the name rang a bell and it turned out he was the guy who did this a few weeks ago:

A bit a no-win situation for Jack, as he's expected to crush a guy that could feasibly be pretty good, but at least he's still fighting.

What a spear! Edge would be proud.

Yep, not ideal for JDM, these short notice fights are no joke, but hopefully he gets the win without getting hit too much so the Brady fight can be rebooked as soon as possible.

Fackin’ hell….not sure 50k is enough for either of them for taking that beating

Great tribute clip, just wish the ufc could do that for all their legends not just the ones Dana likes.

Bo looked good! Obviously level of opponent matters but he looked powerful there.
