Great fighter, just something that irks me about him. I can see why he is popular though, same with the likes of Cerrone who i also never got on board with.
I don't really see where Colby goes from here. I can't see him getting another shot at Usman. Poirier would be mad to take that fight. Khamzat? Doubt he will take a fighter that low. He might have to wait until Usman retires.

And it looks like Dana is bringing back McGregor to fight for the belt. If so, that is fecking disgraceful. Islam should be next. He is saying Islam has to fight Dariush. How many does he need to win in a row? Conor has easily lost his last 2. It makes a mockery of the sport if Conor gets a shot.
He's barely beat anybody of note though. His only decent win is Dan Hooker, otherwise I think Thiago Moises is the only other guy who was even ranked.
I think Dariush is more than deserving of being right inline after his performance against Ferguson, so them fighting for the #1 spot seems fair.
If Islam didn't shout off on Twitter about fighting RDA only to turn down the fight he wouldn't have pissed Dana off and would probably have had his title shot wrapped up.
This isn't to say Conor deserves one obviously, I just think him fighting Beneil is still the way to go.
Colby is in a weird position (a bit like Max) but if Khamzat beats Burns, that could be a good fight for him.
He hasn't beaten anyone with a huge name i agree but McGregor has been slapped about like a cheap hooker. I get the Dariush fight for Islam but no way should Conor fight for the title.
As for the RDA thing, Islam said he accepted the fight with a small financial incentive and the next thing we know, Dana goes to the old "we offered and he refused" line. I don't know who is telling the truth but my money wouldn't be on the red tomato.
Henry Cejudo complained about the UFC paying Adesanya and Masvidal but not him.
He seemed open to the idea of having one fight before going for the belt, Holloway he mentioned, but even that's unlikely.
They paid Adesanya and Masvidal simply because they are active and have a bigger fanbase than Henry.
And I really like Cejudo. Would love nothing more than his return. But if the UFC didn't pay big money to DJ who is the GOAT of the FW division, they're not going to do it for Henry...
It's unfortunate because it's a case of a very talented fighter wasting the remaining years of his prime.

So Tony Feguson vs. Chandler... slightly worried for Fergs. They'll trade hammer and tongs but Chandler is able to take a shot and keep coming whereas Tony's brain appears to already be fried. Could get ugly unless Tony catches Chandler with something significant and puts him away early.

Quick MMA math: Volkov went to a decision with Hardy who just got beaten by Spivak who Tom finished inside the first round = Aspinall's got this. In all seriousness though it's a tough test and one which will give us a clear indication of whether he's challenger material, he's been impressive so far but never even seen a third round nevermind a five round main event in front of a home crowd, lots of questions he needs to answer.

Highly rated. The kid is Dagestani so you just know he must be some master grappler.
Let's hope he is the real deal. Makes his debut vs a decent wrestler who is susceptible to submissions.
