He kinda looked ready to defend, but definitely wasn't, because didn't even covered his face. Was in that rabbit vs headlight state.
But no biggie, because in real time was hard to tell, and the finish was necessary from that perspective.
Depends how you look at it
Often 3 or 4 losses in a row and you are out. But look who woodley had lost against. He lost the title against Usman. Then lost against 2 of the very top contenders in Gilbert Burns and Covington

Dana never liked working with him and said he was hard to get to fight. He will almost certainly take the opportunity to cut a 38 y.o fighter he doesn’t like on a 4 loss skid.

I want to see a motivated and aggressive Woodley tonight. He has seemed so almost timid in recent fights. He needs to trust his power and wrestling and go for it
