Thanks. I stand corrected and have not given our strikers the credit they are due.

Still no harm in improving those stats!!!!

They will drop more points at Arsenal in a few weeks. The Arse seem in good form at the moment. They may also run into problems at Norwich. We could be up 7 points when we face them.

We will drop points along the way.

As long as we are 4 points clear before we meet them, that'd be enough

We might not though. Apart from the City game, we'll be very strong favourites for all our remaining matches. That's the reward for grinding out results in the tough fixtures since Christmas.

Where is that from?

I see the point, I just find it strange that someone would find it so funny when it's just a headline which isn't actually incorrect.

It IS funny. It's like "City put three past helpless Foster" as a headline for our 4-3 win over them.. It's technically correct, but missing the whole point, by a mile..

The least the headline should read is: "City back top but drop 2 points".

Yeah I agree something like "Manchester City earn a draw at Stoke, which sends them to the top, but ultimately is quite a frustrating result" would be a much better headline.

Points on the table > Games in hand.
They are top.. its fine.

Its in the bag!

I'm in no doubt we'll go 3 points clear Monday but sooner or later we'll drop points and they'll be right back in it again. It's far from over although it's a pretty nice position to be in right now :Keano:

Ideally you'd want us to be 4+ points clear when we play at Etihad as it'll make it pretty straightforward task. Win there and we're champions, draw and we could be champions following league providing a home victory against Swansea, lose and we're still in a driving seat with only two games to go. City should drop points at Emirates or Carrow Road so it's only up to us to win the next five games, none of them are really that tough maybe apart from Blackburn.

Horrible defending from Sunderland on those two goals, but still two points dropped! What a day for us :D

Hah, where's all those saying that City are just on another level to us? Hard to believe people were writing us off in January and earlier! Silva gets a minor injury and loses a bit of form and they start to fall apart, pffft.

We should really win the title from here. Brilliant result for us..

They might take some pride, momentum, call it what you want from the comeback, but they can't take all three points.

So yeah, City fans can feel a little better than they did ten minutes ago, but we're top with a game in hand.

Just as long as our players don't think this means they can settle for a draw against Blackburn.

fecking hell why the feck did mignolet not dive the fecking prick. Class result and if we win vs Blackburn we will have a 5 point lead which isnt a huge amount of good enough. Now we can defeat them at their home!

With City still away to Arsenal and Norwich, we should be comfortable going into the match at the Etihad.

I'd say if we win the next two they might well be done. Going to Arsenal eight points behind knowing that they absolutely have to win will probably be too much for a team that can't buy a win away from home.

If we beat Blackburn I think its over. We'll win comfortably.

Hue game now, win it and its all but over. We have three home games, and a very winnable away game before the game against City. They have three away games, one very losable, plus their away form is poor. They could easily drop five more points before the United game.

Realistically we could be eight points ahead of them in ten days' time, and I fully expect us to at least be more than two points ahead of them.

Sunderland (H)
Arsenal (A)

much harder than
Blackburn (A)
QPR (H)

I just hope that those two don't start putting a great run of form together amidst the relegation battle. They've already beaten Arsenal and Liverpool, albeit at home but still.

Just saw City's goals. What was the Sunderland keeper doing for the last 2 goals?
Blackburn will be fighting for their lives. Any loss will drag them back into the bottom 3 on GD. It wont be easy.
