Come to think of it Zico was never even picked last round wasn't he? 3 rounds straight, this even beats Cruyff not being touched till round 2. :lol:

Cruyff was untouched 4 straight picks (across 2 rounds). Zico ineligible.

Edit: Maybe Cruyff wasn't actually. One full round, though.

Alex Cropley would rejoin the pool after this round.

Plenty asked about Brazilian surnames. Wiki also has some useful tips on naming conventions.

It's his mother's surname, which in Brazil takes precedence.

I didn't pick him because of Bergkamp but was astonished no one else picked him up.
 
Happy with my pick. Stain not liking this criteria makes me think a horrible round is coming next to make up for it though!

Well, as pointed out above Artur wasn't eligible. And people not going for Cruyff isn't that surprising given the premise of the round. Three landmines plus collateral damage. If some other mug managed to blow him up, you'd still lose him even if your own version was a safe pick.

Riskiest option, simply put: Six land mines in play (five for Platini).

As expected, many of you were eager to release GOATs. Now is your chance to sign them up (or get them back!)

Pick two players who played in any given Intercontinental Cup or Club World Championship Final.

One player from each team, state which final it is.

If only one of your picks is successful, you have to keep picking within that game.​

Sheep will be from those games. It may not be useful (i.e. no way we are giving you a great RB because you need one).
