Well...I think it depends on the exact nature of the draft. This is primarily a sheep draft and not primarily a bamboozle draft - or so I take it, at any rate. So, yeah - for this one I agree with what you say.

Game wise, in a sheep draft you can demand that the managers draft with the possibility of having to field a shite player or two in mind - but it would be a stretch to demand that they should prepare for losing players they have landed.

In a pure bamboozle draft, it’s different: There you can simply inform ‘em that anything can happen. No holds barred, no guarantees of anything, etc. So, basically, you can't expect that you'll be allowed to draft wisely in the normal sense.

Leonaldo 1974 (BLOCKED/Collateral damage)
Stan Müstefez 1975 (BLOCKED/Blew up)
Robebio Plallit 1976 (BLOCKED/Collateral damage)

Somebody who bids for mustefez75 loses his money while those who invest on leonaldo and plallit keep their money.

I understand what you are saying. Like you say though this was began as a Sheep Draft concept. Introducing the card mechanics is fine imo but losing already picked players is not a mechanic that should ever be introduced mid-draft IMO. That has to be something stated very clearly as a possibility before the draft as that is a huge mechanic that is a deal breaker for me. I had enough of that drop player mechanic in the Monopoly draft where it was something like round 25 and one other player (Skizzo maybe) and I were dropping and re-picking players for literally days on end while everyone else just waited wanting matches to start. It got tedious and annoying very quickly especially knowing it was a potentially ridiculous infinite loop.

What made it so perfect was, that we both chickened out on who we talked about and then we both picked and blocked Lahm while the two original choices went unpicked :lol:.

Not a bad round to cheat in IMO, given the wealth of available options. Obviously there's the landmine risk which could negate the card entirely.

We need one day to implement a mercato period in a draft: not auction, just some bids like " I'm ready to offer 2 of my players in order to get Messi. Who is interested?'
