Yes, unfortunately.Time for the devil question: a protect card works for all the ballon d'or won by a player?

Because you're addicted. Sorry. You're not alone
I've given up and bid
Yeah thats not a good idea to remove picked players from a team.
Its really the worst type of draft mechanic that is no fun for anyone but the draft master. If someone gets a player passed that should be it. Putting time and effort into researching players gets cheapened if some stupid random event can just remove a player from your team.
Its something that just isn't any fun to lose players you put time and energy into building a team around. There are also plenty of mechanics in a sheep draft and the cards to make players fail that there is really no need for "random draft master events " to remove players from someone's team. Especially if that hits a team already with sheep and removes one of their only GOATS thats just bad game rules to me.
Last question
Let's say someone picks Stan Müstefez and he blows up:
Leonaldo 1974 (BLOCKED/Collateral damage)
Stan Müstefez 1975 (BLOCKED/Blew up)
Robebio Plallit 1976 (BLOCKED/Collateral damage)
Somebody who bids for mustefez75 loses his money while those who invest on leonaldo and plallit keep their money.
@antohan
Right?
That's pretty much exactly what they have said earlier
Well...I think it depends on the exact nature of the draft. This is primarily a sheep draft and not primarily a bamboozle draft - or so I take it, at any rate. So, yeah - for this one I agree with what you say.
Game wise, in a sheep draft you can demand that the managers draft with the possibility of having to field a shite player or two in mind - but it would be a stretch to demand that they should prepare for losing players they have landed.
In a pure bamboozle draft, it’s different: There you can simply inform ‘em that anything can happen. No holds barred, no guarantees of anything, etc. So, basically, you can't expect that you'll be allowed to draft wisely in the normal sense.
Yes.Does protect prevent a player from blowing up?
Yes.
Deactivated that Pick only.Is the landmine de-activated then? Or landmines would still exist?
You guys are so kind to each other. Big happy family that gives out hugs and kisses all over. No shitheads..
Wait till we get to like round 8 and further when teams start taking shape. They will be flying about everywhere
Noted. But some cards may not work how you like so make sure you get them.Yeah thats not a good idea to remove picked players from a team.

Honestly, this is a bit of a freebie round with a fun added twist. We primarily want you guys to have fun.
Court fight only applies to those blowing up a player. Collateral gets money back. What I remember is the answer 'probably'.
Edit: court fight... Ok I see
Seventh heaven boys.
Initially the idea was already picked players also blew up, so the beauty was if you killed your nan at least you also wiped out Messi.
The Stain disagreed, so we ended up blocking the whole period. I'm strongly considering making him a special event reward and see how far you will go.
What made it so perfect was, that we both chickened out on who we talked about and then we both picked and blocked Lahm while the two original choices went unpicked .I love it when people pretend to know what is going on.
Reminds me of that first round of mindgames with @Balu were I talked in riddles as to what I was going for and challenging him to call my bluff.
Then I chickened out and it turned out he hadn't understood the poisoned chalice reference in the first place anyway.
This has all went ominously quiet
When I'm quiet, it means I have no expectations.
In hindsight, my bid was ridiculously low
I assume some people are cheating right now...results?
I'm almost looking forward to the point where I have 6 sheep and I no longer care what happens. Its the hope that kills. Should only take another 5 rounds or so
As in, you?I assume some people are cheating right now...

Well, I have Messi. So can sell about 6 sheeps.Yeah, we will be more relax at the end because we will have no money, many sheeps and no great players to pick
Ballon d'Oh!I forgot about that fecking card.
We've already watched Argentina NT in action.Well, I have Messi. So can sell about 6 sheeps.
