Everyone gets a 100M budget and can spend up to 40M on a player in increments of 1M.

What the feck? This is how it works:

When submitting your pick in Pick 1 of each round, you can also put a bid in, alongside your pick, to try to secure the player if you wish. If two or more managers go for Djemba-Djemba but one offered 35M and the other 32M the former gets him and the other FAILS. The manager who fails in this instance gets his money back.

If two or more bidders bid the same amount; the player gets blocked and they lose their money as well, so think carefully.

If you are the only one picking a specific player and you have also made a bid; the money will be taken from your budget.

To make it clear, you can only bid for players in Pick 1 of each round. Budgets are useless in reinforcement rounds.

Clarification:

Was asking @Tuppet why he didn't just shithead Pat instead of going for a very likely block.

It seems he understood he also had to let us know about it an hour before.

We must be told an hour in advance A card will be used so we can prepare stuff in advance for a busy hour around deadline. If it then leads you to using others that's fine.

Was wondering about that myself. In other words, you can use more than one card per round/pick.

Use the cheat - and then the shithead when you realize X has gone for Y.

Question: Can you do the above, only using Protect rather than Shithead?

As told via PM, the list submitted by the stain was misleading because I had the price of one manager and not the others.

So, I thought the manager who was on Garrincha hasn't offered money.

You had 3 managers with ?, 2 MISSED DEADLINE, 16 with just a player's name next to it, and one on a player 4-5 others were going for which said FAIL -NAME- 13M

I cocked up giving you that info by accident, but whichever way you reason it it doesn't logically lead to your interpretation.

Could have had Facchetti for 3m. I feel cheated.

Seriously, though, looking at the other amounts people bid, I'd say he was a decent purchase.

That initial Skizzo/Annah bid deserves some attention, I feel: What was the thinking? If someone else bids (and obviously that's what you assume - otherwise you don't enter a bid in the first place) they either bid the absolute minimum amount too, in which case the player gets blocked, or they outbid you.
