Looks like some of the existing players will actually go bald by the time all picks come in, thereby getting a bigger pool
Because my knowledge (and I use the word in the loosest sense) of footballers starts from the 70s but still sketchy until the 80s.
Plus the 90s have got lost in a drunken haze so I'm down to a couple of decades which is useless in these drafts.

When there's a narrower draft (timewise), I may venture in and wing it from memory....
It limits you, but in most cases that's a large enough pool. Some rounds may take you to other eras but in ways that lead to interesting research.

Aye, researching the players and learning the history of football over time over multiple drafts is still great fun.
There are still quite a few picks in every draft which I didn't hear of before, but folks here know in great detail, which is again fun to read.
