The F1 Thread 2015 Season

They should put a Honda lawnmower engine in it, atleast it would do the distance.

Ferrari still not that close in race pace yet then, Merc's pulling away easily.

Bit annoying that the one race where we end up with Hamilton right behind Rosberg is the one race where Hamilton's pace is rubbish.

I think my prediction of a good race was a bit foolhardy.
Heh, the most discussion worthy stuff so far has been whether the McLaren sounded like a lawnmower and the production quality of the slow motion camerawork.

Yep

I honestly thought Vettel would be closer on pace around here, now thats not the case its a Merc 1-2 and that won't change because Hamilton's having a poor weekend and its impossible to overtake again.

Don't know if its the camera or what but in Sector 2 these cars look slow, look like they are on an outlap the two Merc's.

Interesting that Hamilton has better tyres at the end of that stint though, might make a race of it towards the end because I think he was in better shape on the soft tyre in FP. Still its a longshot though, Rosberg should have this one covered.

Shit weekend all round from Lewis. Hopefully there's no safety car on the last lap...

This has been a shite F1 season so far. Very, very dull races, even on tracks where we're normally guaranteed some interesting races.

It's what happens when they change the rules every few years. It allows no time for regression to the mean, and there tends to be a dominant team who are better adapted to the current set of rules with no time for teams to catch up

That and this season in particular it feels like more of the bigger teams have crap engines which means they are not even competing for the minor places or making the mid pack interesting.
