The F1 Thread 2015 Season

Wasn't really aiming that directly at you :D

Are Honda struggling to shift cars? Thought they had a strong output, but then again I can't say I've looked into it. You are right though, Honda is such a giant it has revenue streams in no end of areas, it's crazy how many different things these companies sell.

Yea we've got a few Honda dealers in our client base and they've had some lean times recently. From what I've been told they're expecting (hoping) it should turn around soon but a combination of factors have led to them struggle to keep up.

They're pretty overpriced for what they are to be fair.

Hopefully they'll see an upturn in the near future aligned with a better F1 motor :)

i wasn't talking about honda but other new manufactures , other teams. honda has deep pockets and they are running into all sorts. i like to see some big boys like BMW come back in and hope not to lose some like renault.

Bringing back back Montoya would solve most of F1's problems in one fell swoop.

Michelin have made a bid to supply tyres to F1 from 2017, providing the sport agrees to them being bigger and longer-lasting.

"Whether we'll be selected or not, we'll see," Michelin motorsport head Pascal Couasnon told motorsport.com.

"But I'd say we want to be coherent with our proposals and offer the opportunity to the teams and the drivers to have a tyre that enables everyone to express themselves and drive to the max."

The French tyremaker withdrew from the sport in 2006, a year after a problematic United States Grand Prix that went ahead with only six cars after all the Michelin-equipped teams withdrew on safety grounds.

He will probably cop some time penalties too because I seriously doubt McLaren will be in the Top 10 at a power track.

These penalties are just pointless i find now, doesn't constitute anything productive.

Of all people Christian Horner complaining about one team winning every race in Formula 1.. I don't remember him moaning to much when Red Bull/Seb Vettel won every race.

He's right though, it's incredibly dull.

It is, I myself have fallen out of love with the sport a lot over the last couple of seasons but for someone like Christian to be complaining when his own team benefited from certain rules not so long ago is a bit hypocritical.

Rosberg a lot quicker than Hamilton at the moment. Will be interesting to see if that gap closes in the final session.

 What a finish! Hamilton spins on T1, and Rosberg has a golden opportunity to take pole before spinning himself!

Rosberg's strength from last season seems to now be getting away from him too.

Wet race please.

hopefully the drama continues tomorrow, enough today ranged from Arrivabene near miss, Kimi "how the feck?" then the double kill to close out

If we are lucky every race for the rest of the season will be a wet race, purely just to take away the nearly certain 1-2 Merc
