Lewis and managing tyres should not be used in the same sentence.
Yeah, let Rosberg through so he can build up a lead, change to fresh tyres and attack at the end of the race, going probably 2-3 sec faster per lap.

I think the plan was for Lewis to be gentle on the tyres and be a bit slower to save him the time of one last stop.
If he keeps driving on as fast as he can and tells his engineers to feck off he'll hurt himself because he fecks the strategy his team put him on because his tyres indeed will not last.
Maybe he's hurting himself just to spite Rosberg.
