Maybe not Massa's fault, looked from Massa's onboard that Perez moved across a bit. Anyway, the championship is going to be tricky for Hamilton now. Going to have to repeat his 4 wins (and then probably more) and pray for no more DNFs.
If Rosberg has a DNF and Hamilton wins there would be only 1 point between them

Double points for last race is similar to play-offs in football. Both are not fair but added to try and increase excitement.
22 point gap, its not insurmountable but its just really tough to peg that kind of gap back when under normal circumstances you will finish 1-2.

What a race, it had everything. Good to see Ricciardo win, a nice guy and is performing very well to boot.
I still think Hamilton will overtake Rosberg again at some point in the championships. Hamilton has been the faster of the two for most of the year so far and if he goes on another 4 race winning streak from now, he'll be ahead again. It would be really disappointing if the championship is decided by who has more DNFs due to technical issues, and it would be even more disappointing if one of them were to take it from double points in the last race.
Delighted for Ricciardo though. He's been excellent for Red Bull and looking so much more than just a No.2 to a 4-time World Champion.

Best race I have seen in a long, long time. That is why I love the Canadian GP the most! Great to see Ricciardo win it, he must be the nicest guy in F1. Shame about Massa with that huge mistake, and Hamilton is just continuing his unlucky streak.
Looking at some of the replays it looks like Perez dinked to the left just as Massa came up beside him. The stewards will look at it more closely but I wouldn't be surprised if Perez gets punished
After watching it a few times, I tend to agree there is a dink from Perez.
5 place drop for Perez at the next race for causing the accident & 3 place for Chilton

An electric motor was not working, he was only using the internal combustion engine and had 160hp less that he should.
The same has Lewis but his cause other problems too and caused he brakes to fail.
Aye thought so. People way too quick to lay the blame at Massas door! Seemed obvious after looking at one replay it wasn't his fault.
As Canadian Grand Prix goes that was one of the best final thirds, shame the other 2/3's were a bit dull. It only became good when the Mercs started to lose power. Worth watching for the final third anyway.

Now that I've done Monaco I'm thinking I'll go Montreal to watch it live some day. My son is showing more and more interest in it too so would be a good trip for both of us
