The F1 Thread 2013 Season

Without doubt, Red Bull is on rails again. Season is effectively over, I really only watch out of habit now.

Title race was over as soon as they changed the tyres. Ferrari's advantage over Red Bull was in tyre management.

The races will still be interesting, but quali is a formality at this point.

Well they were dominant at Monza, different track this and reliability of the gearbox is still suspect. But I can't see anyone matching Red Bull for the rest of the season, most will just concentrate on 2014 now, only the weather will change things. This is why Red Bull piss me off though, when they get a quick car its not 2-3 tenths quicker, its 6-7 tenths and it just dominates. F1 was so much better earlier in the season when you had 3-4 teams all on similar pace.

I would love it if Webber gets pole, Vettel thinks he has got this so has parked up in the garage.

Wow, that pole position was entirely unexpected. How exciting!

More seriously, this is as bad as the Schumacher years. Which I'm sure Vettel would take as a huge compliment.

Webber really can't get out of that seat soon enough, trouble is I think they have just done a total copout by putting Riccairdo in there. Raikkonen could have made it proper spicy.

Vettel was proper dominant today. People should give him a bit of credit.

Him and his car is just too good a combination. It is getting a bit boring seeing the same person win over and over again. The fight for first place has been rare these past few years, once he's first he has basically won, not the same with other pole sitters

What a start again by Alonso, it looked like Rosberg might have made this interesting but Vettel got back in front straight away.

Well atleast Rosberg made it exciting for one corner. Expect a 20 second Vettel win now.

5 seconds already.

Boring shit again, predictable season end again. See you all next year.

Reminds me of the early 2000s when we'd hope for a problem for Schumacher or rain to have an exciting race.

The only entertainment today is either going to be a safety car or mechanical failure for one of the top runners
