The F1 Thread 2013 Season

Holy feck, unbelievable from RBR. Hope the camera man is ok, he took a huge whack there.

BBC

Allan McNish, Former Toyota F1 driver
"Lewis did not have the confidence to go into the corner then hit the breaks, so he lost out to both Vettel and Webber. He would have been better dropping in behind Vettel but he tried to fight it and lost out."
Gary Anderson, BBC F1 technical analyst

Recycling their own shit now.

BBC are just idiots.

Interesting that Rosberg is staying ahead of Hamilton eventhough Hammy is on new tyres.

Why hasn't Webber been disqualified for that?

fecking ridiculously stupid piece of driving. The Mechanic hadn't even let go of the wheel

You can't blame Webber for this, he's watching the lollypop man. As soon as he says go Webber hits the accelerator.

Well whoever's fault it was it could easily have killed someone. No way you should be allowed to rejoin the race after that

He's part of RBR and RBR should have the driver disqualified. You cannot make these mistakes and escape punishment.

I don't agree. Hamilton should have done his job with the pole in the first place.

It's nothing to do with that, Rosberg is on a different strategy and holding up Hamilton just handed Lotus valuable points. At this point the race is Vettel's anyway but that was typical Mercedes incompetance in a tight race.

Rosberg on a different strategy should have just moved over and held up Kimi. However i think Malaysia came into play a little for Rosberg there.

I hope the FIA throw the book at RBR for that, it's a nightmare scenario for leaving the pits without securely attaching a tyre. Imagine if that was heading towards the crowd? Very dangerous.
