and all down to another crap pit stop

Even if it was a good pit stop, would have been the same result. He would have still been 14 secs behind both of the front 2 (who don't look like stopping again).

And also, Hamilton only lost 1 second in that pit stop either way.

Go Alonso :p

1 stop strategy has fecked vettel and its not going well for alonso as well.

You are allowed to move once to defend? He didn't even attempt to defend.

Yea but what would be the point is what I'm saying, Lewis was absolutely miles faster and the red bull is shit in a straight line at the best of times.

I beg to differ. I think Lewis has been amazing today despite the best efforts of his team both tactically and in the pits.
Agreed about the pits but how can you say they were tactically bad after seeing alonso and vettel?

Alonso :(

7 races 7 winners is bizarre. I think Kimi or Grosjean will win the next one!

Hamilton's drive was unbeatable today. All they had to do was make sure they didn't lose the race for him tactically. At one point they nearly messed it up by telling him his competition wouldn't one-stop. Ignore the tactics of Alonso and Vettel; they were forced into those by Hamilton's brilliance!

I do agree with you about his pit stops, they did there best to feck it up.
Cant fault his driving, thats what I meant

100% agree. Magnificent drive from him today. At times I felt he was alone in pursuing victory because his team weren't offering him too much.

I totally agree hamilton was great today but just saying that they weren't tactically bad.

I think we're all agreeing but to different degrees

Personally, I think that if you factor out Hamilton's drive and how it forced Alonso and Vettel's hand, McLaren didn't do themselves much credit tactically. Something that they showed when they told him the others wouldn't one-stop, they seem completely unable to read the tactics of other teams or put together a progressive plan themselves.
