If you get into Q3 you should be made to do atleast 2 competitive laps, and not be able to start on new fresh rubber

Literally nothing exciting has happened in this race. Has there been a single overtake? I haven't seen one.

Problem is, some numpty will crash the car and the race will get red flagged just when it gets interesting you watch
"Look after your tires" is anathema to "race hard" and I hate it.
That's pretty ignorant to be honest. There's some great racing going on back there at times.
Exactly its anti-F1, 20 laps to go at Monaco with the Top 6 inside 10 seconds and they are told to save tyres, its criminal.
This years title winner should be crowned the 'World Tyre Management Champion'.

They should change the track layout here, if they did something with the Nouvelle Chicane and perhaps Turn 1 they could have two legit overtaking spots. As it is its just a procession unless it rains or if someone goes overtaking nuts.

Aye, completely agree.
I love how it's brought the pack closer together and how wins can come from anywhere but the problem is that it's come as a consequence of hindering practically everyone on the grid. I'd much prefer the rules boosted the lower teams to race better as opposed to hinder the top teams until they're not racing at their full capacity any more.
The fact that I'm watching the pinnacle of motor races and not a single driver has gone 100% hell-for-leather is really sad.
Sorry Brundle but "well this is Monaco" is not an excuse for a boring race every year.
