The F1 Thread 2010 Season

Sorry I forgot we shouldn't disagree with you, I'll make a note of it.

No, i don't mind disagreement thats why i enjoy this F1 thread more than any other on the forum. It's just when you took it all personally over my opinion during Hockenheim did it make me chuckle. After all i'd like to think in here we have a bit more decorum than the muppets in the transfer forum ;)

 touché

Vettel should be able to passing him , his car is faster.

This is Hungary though, it's one thing to be a second a lap quicker in front, it's another to overtake the next fastest team when behind

For all the entertainment of this race, and it has been, it's been because of safety car involvement, the retirement of the World Championship leader, pit lane calamity and feck ups from Red Bull. Not overtaking

Hamilton sees his Championship lead gone and IMHO will not get the lead again

He'll be struggling, however the McLaren should be better suited for Spa & Monza. The issues for McLaren is if they can develop a good down force package for Singapore/Japan/South Korea

very true cant agrue with any of that ,would make a more intresting race to have a Vettel / Webber battle for the lead.

Yup, shit track. Takes something external to make it interesting.

If vettel can't pass Alonso now it will only underline the point that overtaking is next to impossible here.

But will the other teams not also have upgrades to there cars to keep them ahead.

But the next two races are ones which don't require a high amount of downforce & more straight line speed. Something which McLaren will have no problems in achieving.

I also think they will have the blow diffuser working better and flexing wings if they are deemed legal, trouble is the Red Bull will be good everywhere and Ferrari are not far off them either. I just can't see McLaren making up 7 tenths in time for a title battle.

Yeah as far as the blown diffuser goes, its probably the most disastrous in-season development that McLaren have done for a long time. I think they'll have it sorted by the time Singapore comes around.

This is a perfect demonstration of the problems with F1 at the moment, Vettel is so much faster in that car and yet can't get closer than 6 tenths behind Alonso.

More track than anything, no place to have a proper go unless someone makes a mistake in the last Turn to setup a T1 move.

The track exacerbates the issue but its the aero that's the main problem, the cars start understeering like mad when close to another car.

Its about fecking time the tyre manufacturers grew a fecking set and made tyres that actually change, not taking the half arsed route and providing lifeless generic tyres. feck I want another tyre war.

Less aero, more mechanical grip. Its not fecking rocket science.

Don't know about a tyre war, it was a bit shit the way some tracks suited one manufacture so much more than the other.

feck that was close from Schuey the twat

fecking hell, schumi being a bold boy there

Schumacher being dangerous there, cnut. Wouldn't be surprised if he's investigated.

Fair play Rubens.

Sad thing is, as soon as Rubens put it down the inside you knew exactly what was coming.

fecking cnuts trick that, typical from him.
