The F1 Thread 2010 Season

Vettel will still come out what, at worst 3rd or 4th after his penalty? With Webber to still make his stop....this might still not be a complete disaster(not far off it mind)

i hate webber, i hate vettel, i hate horner, i hate red bull cars, i hate red bull drink

fecking cocks

So Vettel didn't even realise that he was messing up?

Should have read the rule book eh. Was blatantly unsporting, you can't just hold everyone up before the safety car restart as your team mate drives away in the distance

Red Bull cocking up has turned this into a fine race! Shame Hamilton is out would have added to the mix

I thought it'd be a boring race today & yet again this F1 season has proven itself to be one of the most exciting in years.

Have to think he's been told by the team do hold back there to help Webber, and now Webber is on for the win, bloody mismanagement again.

Most of it due to Red Bull fecking up time and time again....they should have been out of sight in the championship and the race

I mentioned Vettel choking at the last race & got berated by lovely R_Nick :p

Vettel could of easily had this one in the bag today but he's fecked it up again, he lacks some maturity behind the wheel.

The more i see that straight before turn 4 the more i'm reminded of the time when Damon Hill was winning in his Arrows & a 50p washer killed the car on the last lap.

Very true. If Vettel knows the rules he can point that out and not do it though! Surely it's just staggeringly obvious you can't do that?

His reaction afterwards tells me he didn't realise. It's easy to say from here but there was so much going on for them at the time he had a lot to think about.

Look at Hamilton with overtaking under the safety car and not knowing whether to let Trulli (I think it was him) back past, it's not always so simple when your in it.

How has he choked?! He was asked to create space and he did, which was a team feck up. You have a bizarre definition of choking.

Do you have Vettel posters on your wall? You do take it incredibly personally on an opinion of mine.

I told you last time how i thought he choked, you could say today that his race engineer should have given him enough warning, but ultimately he's the one who's behind the wheel & determines the outcome. He could of won this today, by a fecking country mile, but his pissing around has caused the problem. So yes, by my definition (and the definition that matters to me) he's choked it.

Fair enough. I think Hamilton's safety car decision was a much more border line thing though

Mental thing about Red Bull's pace is that they fecked this up royally, with decisions which would usually cost both your cars a podium, and yet at this point you wouldn't put much money at all on anything other than a Red Bull one two

All depends on his traffic, and if anyone else is pitting as well in this lap. He should be fine.

It was more borderline yea, I'm just saying it's a high tension situation in the cockpit.

And yea redbulls management has been awful, I wonder if Mateschitz will be reviewing the team after this season.
