The F1 Thread 2010 Season

That was a bit of a snoozer. Could have told you that top five, in that very order, yesterday. In fact I'm annoyed I didn't put money on it, though I doubt the odds were great!

If you're going to miss a race this season, this is probably the one. Surely even Vettel can't toss this pole advantage away as he's been doing all season

I agree with Eddie on this Whitmarsh Mclaren are not good enough its not Red Bulls fault your updates didnt work. With Lewis on the clean side and knowing how good he is off the line with overtaking I think he will take a few.

Very predictable yeah.

Hamilton actually will deserve it if he wins it this year, he's done very well in a not too great car at many times this season. Great damage limitation today.

Its a long way to turn 1 Brad, I'd expect him to be under pressure from Webber at least as well as probably Alonso. If he's still ahead after turn 2 though it's practically over bar a big mistake or car failure.

I think if you're going to drag Whitmarsh over the coals for what he's saying there, you need to remember Horner is probably the absolute worst for it when there's developments on rivals cars his team hasn't spotted. He's in the position to act the smug git now (something he does very, very smugly... I mean well) but he's a right little girl when he wants to be too

No doubt about that he always ahead of the que to complain to the FIA if Red Bull are behind and other teams have a advantage.

Should be a formality for Red Bull tomorrow, they're streets ahead in speed on this circuit. Could be one of the most boring races this season!

Small chance. Worth watching for the first lap, after that its gonna be a watching just for the sake of it experience.

Yep, have a feeling the race could be decided into the first corner tomorrow, wouldn't put it past Alonso getting in front of one of the Red Bulls though. And then there's pressure on Vettel to get the start right, it should be an interesting race for one lap at least!

Coulthard just praised Ferrari for not hiding the fact they'd performed team orders last weekend...

Did he miss the multitude of interviews immediately after where they swore blind no such thing had occurred?

They belated seem to be telling it (more, not totally) like it is now, but part of what made it worse at the time was the spin machine pretending nothing untoward had occured

Aye the denials were stupid, I think the first 'admission' was when Luca released that statement which basically read as 'feck off you bunch of hypocrites, you all do it too'.

Seems Lewis is unhappy with his brakes on his lap to the grid, mechanics tearing them apart.

 his tight white jeans are awful, he wears some shocking shoes too, he had gold ones on yesterday.

Alonso getting ahead is the only thing that will make this interesting at the front, wondering when the redbulls will get back in front. Failing that it'll be a procession.

9 second lead after 12 laps...Jesus.

Barring mechanical failure or boredom, Vettel is going to absolutely walk this.

Still Alonso/Webber/Massa/Hamilton will be interesting I suppose
