The Europa League 2017/18(Use the SF thread to discuss the current match)

That's what you get for trying to walk the ball into the net against a fecking shit team. Just fecking score!

Quite incredible you never see Graham Potter mentioned for Premier League jobs, Ostersunds can be qualified today on the same group as Zorya, Hertha or Bilbao, don't know why clubs like West Ham or Everton didn't go after him, possible doesn't have a good agent, only reasonable explanation imo.

Aduriz again. It's that home loss to flaming Zoraya that is doing for them. Somehow they took four points off the Swedes, drew in Berlin and lost at home to Zoraya.

Never 'eard of 'im and if I 'aven't 'eard of 'im then 'e's got no chance in the PL.

He should get a mention, but PL clubs show no imagination in most cases and go for the same old names. Old being the key word. As though they are old, so they must be good.

Stupid thing is English pundits who are always complaining about the lack of chances to England managers never mention him, its always Big Sam, Pardew or Moyes.

Wonder if Keys will tweet "Death of British Coaching" or Big Sam complain about "I feel a foreigner in my own country"?

P.S And now they are winning 2:0, if after this nobody mentions his name in England he better hire Mendes or Raiola as agent.

Some of these pundits and needs to be brave and more specific and say young English coaches aren't getting a chance. Be brave and say it is these old coaches who are blocking their way.

They are not going to say because they work together and know each other for many years, even if I think absolutelly Big Sam deserves a job, problem is there are younger talents and they are not mentioned, its not only this one, there are other managers in the Championship who are never mentioned.

Maybe they have to try their hand abroad like he has. Moyes has probably put some teams off employing English managers.

Christ Vitoria Guimaraes being spanked by Red Bull Salzburg, as predicted tbf.

It's a strange feeling when you limping to an awful defeat but still managing to top the group in a 2nd rate tournament. :wenger:

After this Ostersunds and Bilbao will go to the last match with advantage over Zorya and possibly Hertha will be already out, not good season for German teams overall.

Apparently he really enjoy it in Östersund. Heard him in an interview on swedish television and his vision was to create a legacy at Östersund first before even considering something else. He's an amazing coach and should in all honesty get a shoot at one of the middle teams in the PL if he wanted to.

Cologne have now won more points vs Arsenal than in their 12 league matches.
