Feck, the speed of it all is leaving me dizzy - or dizzay, actually. Properly dizz-ay.
The thing is, Messi as the false 9 is a bit boring. We want to create a counter attacking team using messi, and a false 9 isn't suited for it. The minute all of Scholes-Xavi-Iniesta went we didn't want to try and create the same old tiki taka these drafts tend to do. I want to make it a real fantasy one. Messi has every attribute in the world to succeed as a right inside forward and he has done it, and in a counter attacking team with the right base behind him I'm sure he will, the tiki taka imo didn't come to Barca to get the best of Messi, but Messi thrived under it. I'm sure if Messi was playing in RM instead of Ronaldo there wouldn't have been an attempt to make a possession team but still a fast moving forward team. Barca's counters are deadly mostly because of Messi's on the ball skills and speed, so if we place him with other quick attackers and a player like Sammer to kick-start these attacks it would be deadly. But you are shoehorning Messi to the wing, capable yes, but not his best position, it has worked against many people before.
Up yours Cutch.
You absolute wanker!
He wasn't gonna get past me if NoPace hadn't taken him as well.

Thomas Hassler
Never won the league, but did manage to star during Germany's 1990 World Cup win and their 1996 European Cup.
Hassler also finished 3rd in Ballon d'or voting. #shinfo
I'm on an iPad and thus not arsing about with the list but we pick Giuseppe Signori.
Less than 30 caps, won feck all. Absolute demon of a player. Makes no sense.
Looks like the research came to fruition.

Eight highest top scorer in Serie A history.
152(117)
for Lazio.
I guess it's ok. I can still pick Djemba Djemba who never won a league title.
