The Americas Draft

Had looked at Orsi and Pepe before deciding on Loustau, granted in the end I wouldn't have had a choice in the matter.

Loustau by all accounts was a complete winger, good pace, great dribbling, good crosser, good scoring record, but most importantly for the formation I currently am looking at, he covered a huge amount of ground, to the point where he was known as a ‘ventilador-wing’–‘fan-wing’, because he was a winger who gave air to the midfield by doing some of their running for them.
He's a very credible pick - I had him in the top half-dozen or so left-wingers / left-sided attackers.

I love Pavoni's tache. It epitomises the way he played: uncompromising and uninhibited.

 Indeed. Benetti's tache has a similar effect in that it leaves no doubt whatsoever that you're looking at unyielding, icy malevolence:

Benetti always reminds me of a certain actor whose name I can't remember: A B-movie bad guy specialist. Very often sports a tache too.

 Yeah, him too, I suppose.

But then again every guy with a proper tache sort of looks like Magnum.

It couldn't be the similarly malevolent Lee van Cleef could it?

lee-van-cleef-photo.jpg

The paragon of mustachioed malevolence...

No - the guy I have in mind is not on Lee's level (he's younger and usually played minor roles). He looks like a shabbier version of Lee - sort of.

Oh @Jayvin was online all the morning but has left the place 45 minutes ago :(

Australia 10:30 pm there :nervous:

He should always send his picks to someone as he's on a completely different timezone

@Mciahel Goodman

Already done Jayvin. Probably best off deleting that one, save the confusion

striker pool is insanely huge... El Diego and Crespo going in round 7 and there are still few brilliant players yet to be picked!

if you replicate the actions of your third round pick i will give you few names:angel:

Not a Valderrama fan?

I have a few names for strikers but they're not as good as I'd like. Didn't think Goodman would go two up front.

Ah feck me, no I didn't read the rules. Have you never played WW with me?

Technical difficulties, I shall be back. Sorry for naming a player.

I thought you were developing some cunning strategy to go balls deep in all the Brazilian big boys then snap up under-the-radar support acts from the rest of South America.

;)

Newsflash - Goodman goes for three strikers up front. Just like Bryan Robson trying to keep WBA up years ago.

What do we do about MG deleting his last player pick ?
