Cilic will never be a contender... can't deal with the pressure.

I thought Nole was finished after the third set but Cilic still managed to lose the match somehow. he really needs this wimbledon, especially now with Nadal and Murray out of the way.

England's brave Andy Murray!

Canadian super legend Milos Roanic. COME ON!

So glad Dimitrov wiped the floor with Murray. I heard people saying that it was Murray's to lose and his game was miles better then everyone else a couple of days ago.

Please he played no one to this point and as soon as he got a quality player (Dimitrov) he got outclassed

I guess if you limit it to Canadian Womens Players......maybe she's the GOAT.

Shame Wawrinka had physical problems when he did. It looked like he had Federer's number.
I think he would probably have won it if the scheduling hadn't screwed him over like it did.

Then again two matches in two days must be pretty tough for Federer at his age.

I was just amazed at how he could hold himself together for so long, especially after winning that first set. You could see by the end of the third he looked like he was going to be sick at any minute, so to do 3 in 3 days and take a set off Federer is nothing short of incredible. Like you say, on another day without 3 in a row and it would have been his.

It was pretty impressive. Maybe in hindsight he might have been better off not coming out all guns blazing in the first set, but then he probably needed to do that to stand a chance. Still he's never got past the first few rounds at Wimbledon before, so reaching the quarters is a good run for him.

I actually wanted Dimitrov to win yesterday. Been hearing about him for a while, and two of my housemates adore the guy. Jumped on his bandwagon earlier in the tournament and he's such a joy to watch.

Murray was useless yesterday, but even then Dimitrov looked sublime. Would love to see him beat Djokovic and reach the Final.

Him vs Federer would be similar to Federer vs Samparas. The passing of the torch from one legend, to a future one.

Gutted for Andy. I expect next season will be a lot better.

On the other hand, it's nice to see the loser brigade of 21-24 year olds are finally finding their nackers and playing some winning tennis. Albeit Raonic and his return game repulses me. Hopefully Federer smashes the one shot warrior.

I'd like to see Federer and Simona Halep win it. I think Halep is Tennis' next big star - probably at the Justine Henin/Kim Clijsters level

Bouchard is amazing to look at.

She also has a twin sister. ;)

Lisicki is quite adorable and has a great personality. But come on, Bouchard is just unreal and light years better.

No no no. It's all about the legs, imagine wearing lisicki's like a scarf

Even though I sound completely sexist and undermining the women's game. I'm not. I think these past 2-3 years have got much better on the women's side, it's more enjoyable to watch now. It's not just "oh it's there" or "I'll watch cos I can have a wank". They're actually playing some exciting tennis. It's getting more interesting than the men's to me. The women seem less consistent if I'm honest, but it's more competitive. The men's is just smashed by a few top players in general.

I still think the best, fastest and most powerful is in the men's game. But I also think some men settle for getting to a certain round, whereas a lot of the women actually set their sights on the big prize.

Slightly off that topic from the rest of my post. I realised there arent too many black females that I can think of on the circuit ATM. And I thought about the Williams dominance and wondered why.... It's may sound weird, but black women and big booties are a common thing? So, does this help te Williams? Surely they've moved those booties to muscle territory. And as a lot of tennis is from the legs IMO, with power. Am I being stupid or could this be slightly logical.

Their dominance could have just been down to pure training obviously. But they seemed so powerful.

Also, the obligatory lisicki <3

Well that is the final I want.

Not a serve bot vs Drimitov.

Just saying that Djokovic will still be having nightmares about 2 years ago when Fed completely schooled him on a grass court and Fed also leads their H2H's. Federer in a Wimbledon final is a daunting prospect for anyone given his history and aura, he's only lost 1 out of 8 which was the epic v Nadal.

Can't see any possible way in which Raonic can beat Federer and Fed is usually quite good against servebots. And let's not forget that Fed's serve itself has been, I think, statistically the best in the whole championships only broken a few times. He's been generally rock solid on serve and with his massive experience of these big matches he should be coming through this.

Djokovic v Dimitrov will be fascinating, I honestly think Dimitrov must win the first set for his confidence and game to show because if not it will be near impossible for him to beat Djokovic after that.

I think the forms of Federer and Djokovic are converging at just the right time to make it a potentially classic final. Djokovic has not convinced for a while and Federer I think is surprising some people by still playing so well at the age of 32.
I really hope those 2 meet on Sunday as it could be epic!

Really impressive tournament by the goat, past his best by a good 5 years but now got a decent chance to win Wimbledon again. Can't see him beating Djokovic over 5 sets, though.

Can't see him beating Djokovic over 5 sets, though.

it's quite possible that he won't need to do that in 5 sets. Novak lost couple of his last final and semifinal matches pretty convincigly.

Dmitrov looked pretty solid in that first set except for that one horrible serve game where he was broken. But he's going to have a tough time breaking Novak.

He broke himself basically and Djokovic might as well have been sitting in his chair. You just can't clown a service game away like that at the highest level. This will be over in straights the way it's going.

Dimitrov isn't ready yet for this.

Is there anything more boring than a Djokovic match like this? It's like watching a robotic wall.

Yeah can't see anything other than a straight set Djokovic win now.

Djokovic is the tennis equivalent of 2010 Spain. He is very good and even more boring. Dimitrov must try to get the game out of Nole's comfort zone (these monotonic slow baseline borefests). He has one of the best sliced backhand and net play on the tour. He should use them more.
