Going to be the two longest holds of Rafas career here. Don't think Medvedev will be broken again.

Nole needs to enter FO or Rafa will take 22nd 100%. Clay is Rafa's playground

That backhand miss against Djoko must be etched in the memories of all Nadal fans.
Will absolutely never forget that backhand down the line. Even the Federer final in 17. Just traumatic memories. Even the USO win vs Medvedev really aged us all.

Federer one not so much. He blitzed Nadal in the final set.
2012 hurts because Nadal was the better player in that final set. One miss and he swung all the momentum Novak's way.

It's more physical imo. The fact Medvedev chose to play lot of drop shots all of sudden is a sign. He knew he's tired and didn't want to stay on long rallies.

I have to disagree, for me it's definitely mental, as it's more about poor decision making and panic, same as him kicking off with the crowd, whereas he's still covering the court pretty well.

Anyone else being irked by the commentator constantly screaming "OUT!!"
Like you don't have to say it Every single time.
If the TSN stream didn't buffer so much I'd do them, but then probably have to deal with ads.

Oh Federer definitely deserved it but Rafa was still 2-3 service games away from winning. This Slam has been left a lot of mental scars.

Ball hits a kid in the crowd…

No one..

OUT!!!

One of the most impressive comebacks I can remember if he pulls through. What a match.

Player can still make poor decision making due to fatigue not in the right mind though. He keeps doing drop shot in set 3 and set 4.

If Nadal had really gone for it, he could have broken to win the match there. Just don't go 0-15 now for the love of God.

He’s going to drop this serve isn’t he :(

Isn't it uncomfortable running around with a tennis ball in your pocket?
