I wish I had a clear favourite. I almost can't decide. They should both win.

Medvedev's serving really has kept him in this match at times. Very high 1st serve %
Nadal for me. I like Medvedev but he will have plenty of chances to come. We should savour every last one of Nadal’s last tournaments.
Same for me, I always liked tennis as my third sport - but during the era of Federer, Djokovic, Nadal and Murray - the sport went up another level.
Even though Federer for example was my opposition too - I couldn't ever hate these players. They just do the sport to perfection.
Very quick hold to love there by Mendenev. As they get more tired his big serve could become more crucial.
Medvedev seems to have unscrambled his brain after going off court. Still fancy Nadal to win the tight points, though.

Medvedevs serve returning is huge for him, also seems to make some sensible decisions again. This will be a good 5th set.
Nadal is an alien, there’s no other explanation as to how he’s still hitting this well after this ordeal of a match so far.

I still feel like Medvedev will come back
The new generation has no stamina at all.
We know about their physical ability but the mental ability of Nadal, Novak and Federer is amazing. They just don't let stuff get to them and always think they can comeback and win... and a lot of times, do.
True, but since Nadal's serve was being abysmal that might make the difference here.

It's mental far more than physical - Nadal has been here plenty of times, Medvedev hasn't beaten him in 5, and he's always good value for a meltdown.

It's more physical imo. The fact Medvedev chose to play lot of drop shots all of sudden is a sign. He knew he's tired and didn't want to stay on long rallies.
