Without a doubt imo. The 5th set was the only set where I had the feeling Rafa was dominant and all over Medvedev. For the rest of the match Medvedev needs to have a look at himself too. The decision making and shot selection in the 4th set were baffling.
Wouldnt rule Djokovic out, beat him there last year. But one can hope!
Fair play to Rafa, hung in there as always and found some quality, and was helped by Medvedev basically beating himself at times.
I thought he was going to be destroyed! You can never bet against the heart of true champion. Nothing in life is ever set - there are so many little things that lead to results. Well done did it!!!
