Tennis 2019

I’ve never seen Djokovic return so badly on second serves. This is ridiculous, every other second serve ends up with him returning it out

Can't believe Agut held his serve there. Good game.

Crucial hold. Doubly so, because now he might hold on until I get home and I get to watch Fed - Nadal :D

This is out of Agut's reach now, game will be done and it will have been fairly easy for Djokovic even though he looked frustrated with himself at times.

Hopefully Fed v Nadal doesn't start until 6pm.

Probably start at 4.30.

Novak wins.

Rog/Raf up next. Probably in 20 or 30 mins I think.

I reckon this was the perfect test for Novak before the final and should give him more mental strength going into it.

Tournament stats show Nadal with more aces and higher 1st serve win %age than Fed, which has been increasingly apparent in each game.

Both very solid on serve. Nadal's cross-court backhand has been effective.

Both dominant on their serve so far.

Gives me chillings watching these two at Wimbledon again.

Nadal's 'new' serve has given this a slightly different dynamic.

3 bloody aces in a game. He's struggled to hit aces all tournament and suddenly he's back.

Fed's struggling from the baseline, as you'd expect I guess. At least the serve has been working pretty well so far, but once it drops off or Nadal sorts out his return you'd have to think Nadal will pull away fairly easily.

First set is very important for Federer. Nadal will grow into the game so important take that first set and consolidate from there.

Nadal is absolutely non-existent on the Federer serve. You can't win returning this badly. He's going to need to step it up big time or he's going out.

This has been boring so far. Aces and unreturned serves one after the other without any great rallies.

You'd think so but his serving has been flawless and doesn't seem like it's disappearing at all.

This is how grass court tennis is when both players are serving well. It's why I find it the most boring of all surfaces.

Federer isn't beating Nadal if Nadal keeps getting so many free points on his serve.

After nearly breaking Nadal twice, Fed is definitely going to lose the tie break.... It's like clock work

Tennis wankers in a subterranean food court clapping and hollering for Wimbledon. Jaysus get a grip.
