Yeah I think we've all gotten used to this era and in a few years from now the sport will pale miserably in comparison.3 of them combined have 52 grand slams
This level of tennis will never be reached again with 3 of the best players ever to play the game in the same era
I think tennis is the sport with the highest number of completely spoiled brats. Not directly in relation to the amount of splitting with coaches (which could have other reasons) but I find it staggering how many constantly go into meltdown on the court or act like utter bellends in general.Seem like petulant teenagers half of them.

Completely armchair psychology but it wouldn't surprise me if the combination of the sport being super individualistic and the fact that the majority of them come from quite well off backgrounds (very expensive sport for teenagers) is absolutely toxic for their character development.
Having said that, the absolute elite seems to quite leveled, it's more the second tier players (Raonic, Stephens) who seem a bit mental.
Yeah I referred to them.Really I'd say tennis players in general seem to be a class act. Djokovic, Nadal, Federer, Murray are about as good a set of ambassadors a sport can hope to have.
The nature of the player/coach relationship makes it inevitable. I admire Osaka making her happiness her priority, Bajin was clearly helping her get great results but that's not the only thing that matters in life. Most of us have had a manager who is a dick but for tennis players they actually have the power to get rid of the people who coach them if they're not happy. They all also follow each other, Murray brings in Lendl and then everyone else gets a big name former player, and I wonder if Osaka has looked on enviously at one of her rivals (maybe in terms of the relationship a player has with their coach rather than the results) and decided that's what she wants for now.Yeah I referred to them.
I'm surprised that he beat Nadal.Nadal really is throwing this match away against Kyrgios
I'm surprised that he beat Nadal.
Yeah, the only explanation is to me that Nadal wanted to lose. Kyrgios is constantly getting schooled these days while he pretends like he's not trying.
What was he doing? It was a tight game. Kyrgios played well.
Nadal was never troubled on his serve in all three sets. But he had a lot of opportunities to break. Had match points in the tie break too and somehow just threw it away from there.
Nadal blasting Kyrgios in the press conference though. His behaviour throughout the match was pathetic.
Damn. I watched Nadal last night and when I woke up this morning the one result I checked was Federer vs Stan as I didn't even think Novak could have lost.Djokovic out.
